Labelled with Love Celebrate Rainbow Card.

 Good Morning Everyone,

A few weeks ago our team leader popped an Challenge into the group. She gave us a photograph with some beach towels on, these were decorated with stripes. These stripes were similar to some of our Stampin Up Colours. We were asked to use the Photo as inspiration.

I decided to create a rainbow of butterflies using the colours that fit the stripes from the towels, and also add those colours to the Celebrate sentiment.

What do you think?

Measurements

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored 4 1/8"

Gray Granite Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scraps

---------------------------------------------

Take the Basic Black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside.

Bring in your Stampin Cut n Emboss machine and run the Gray Granite card stock through using the dotty embossing folder from the 3d Basics embossing folder set.

Add this panel to the card front.

On scraps of Basic White stamp 6 Butterflies in memento ink, then fill in each butterfly with a different colour (the colours I used are listed below in the product list). Fussy cut them all out.

Stamp the Celebrate sentiment onto a scrap of Basic White and trim to leave a nice even border of white around the edge.

Colour each letter in using the ink pads and your blender pen - I did this as I don't have all the Blends and the ink pads were already out, but you could use any colouring tool you like.

Now you have all these place the sentiment strip into the centre, and arrange the 6 butterflies around it. Stick them all down with mini dimensionals.

I love how this card turned out and I think it looks great in the rainbow colours - but you could use this layout with different colours and embossing folders to get some brilliant cards.
