Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today's card is made from a selection of scraps! You may have seen a card I made last week using the new 2024-2026 In Color DSP in a patchwork style card. Well I had a few extra Hexagon punch shapes left over, so in true frugal style I've taken them and created another card.
This one is much more of a clean and simple style, but I love how it turned out and I get such satisfaction in being able to use up 'leftovers'.
What do you think?

Take the thick Basic White Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.
Layer the Basic White card to the Basic White piece and add to the card front.
Cut out 3 Hexagon Shapes from scraps from the 2024-2026 In Color DSP - I used Peach Pie, Petunia Pop and Pretty In Pink - using the Heartfelt Hexagon punch. Roughly ink around the edges of these shapes with the same colour ink as the paper.
Arrange these three hexagon shapes towards the left hand side, overlapping them to fit.
Bring in your Cut & Emboss Machine and using the leaf image die from Floral Textures cut out the following -1x Basic Black and 1x Shy Shamrock.
Adhere these together with the black behind, offsetting them so that it look like there's a shadow.
On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment from Textured Floral stamp set in memento ink. Trim down and then lightly add some Summer Splash ink around the edges.
Add this to the bottom right hand corner, covering over the stem part of the leaf.
