Good Morning Everyone,
On Friday I went to see my friend and teammate, Bec for a crafty catch up. To be totally honest, we probably did more chatting than crafting but we managed a little cardmaking. I made a card for this week's Creative Colour Challenges #140 combination. I'm late in sharing it as we got so carried away with the natter that when it came to home time, I left my creations behind oops! But better late then never, right?
I chose the Courage & Faith stamp set and created a simple, yet effective design, what do you think?
Measurements
Azure Afternoon Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
1pc - scrap
------------------------------------------
Take the Azure Afternoon card stock and fold along the score lime to create your card base, adding one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.
using your 2 3/8" circle punch, cut out a circle using the scrap of Basic White. Stamp the sentiment into the centre with Berry Burst ink.
Lay this circle down into the centre of the remaining piece of Basic White - don't stick it down, it's just to use as a guide.
Ink up the leaf image in Granny Apple Green ink and create a stamped circle around the sentiment. Remove the sentiment. Go in with your Granny Apple Green Stampin Blends and colour in all the leaves.
Using the dotted line stamp and Azure Afternoon ink and add some around the leaves. Also add a few dots to the inside.
Add this panel to the card front.
Pop some dimensionals into the back of the sentiment circle and position into the centre.
It's a really great layout, and could work with so many sentiments to create a card perfect for any occasion.
