Holding You Close Enduring Beauty Greeting Card.

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm using the Enduring Beauty bundle again - I just cannot put it down! But today I'm showing you a really great technique to create a subtle background 'DSP' with the stamp set and a set of blends.

-----------------------------------------

Take the thick basic card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the basic black mat to the card front.

On the thinner basic white piece stamp the larger floral image from Enduring Beauty in Smoky slate to cover the whole piece. Once dry colour it all in with your Smoky Slate Blends. I simply coloured the flowers and leaves in the light and used the darker one to colour in all the background. This creates a really interesting but subtle background DSP if you like. I think using this principle you could do it with lots of different colours to get a variety of finishes, perfect for any occasion.

Add this to the card front, on top of the Basic Black panel.

On a scrap of basic white stamp the floral image again, but this time using memento ink. Colour in with a selection of Stampin Blends. Once finished cut out using the coordinating die.

Stamp the sentiment onto another scrap on cit out using the stitched label from the same die set.

Arrange both of these on the card front and stick down with dimensionals.

Here's a list of supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store Product List
