I'm so sorry I'm so late in sharing this - I kind of got waylaid this weekend!
I took part in the next Monochromatic Insta Hop on Friday and this week is the fabulous Parakeet Party. I will be really sad to see this colour leave us at the end of our current catalogue along with the rest of the 2022-2024 In Colors - I love how bold this colour is and I added some black to really make it pop.
I used both the Softly Sophisticated and Colour & Contour stamp sets to created a very bright and bold 'Hello there' Card

Measurements
Basic Black Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Parakeet Party Card Stock
1pc - 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"

Take the Basic Black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add one of the Basic White Pieces to the inside.
Bring in your Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine and run the remaining piece of Basic White through the machine in the Softly Sophisticated Embossing Folder.
Whilst you have the machine handy, run the 2nd largest and smallest frames through and cut out some Basic Black card.
With a blending brush and some Parakeet Party ink apply some colour to the embossed panel. I added some along the bottom and went up to about 1/4 of the card, getting an ombre effect - graduating in depth from the bottom. I also added a very light touch of ink to the top, again about 1/4 of the card but this time keeping it all quite light.
Once you are happy with the blending and colour, add this panel to the card front.
Ink up the flower image from Colour & Contour in memento ink and stamp into the centre of the Parakeet Party Card stock. Add some colour to the petals and leaves with your Parakeet Party Stampin Blend. Using the same colour of Blend on the card helps give a difference in shade, but it's more subtle and less contrasting than say Parakeet Party onto White. Add this panel to the inside of the large Basic Black die cut and the place to whole panel onto the centre of the card front.
On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment from Softly Sophisticated in Memento ink then trim down so it fits into the centre of the remaining die cut the place this over the stem below the flowers.
