Good Evening Everyone,
I created this card for the current CAS Colours & Sketches #529 challenge which is a fabulous sketch layout.
At first I was really unsure of how I was going to make a card with the heart shape in the centre, and was starting to think of an alternative shape to use, I came across the Hello Ladybug stamp set and thought I could use the leaf image as my 'heart' and my design just developed from there.
Measurements
Thick Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
scraps
Softly Stippled DSP
1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8", cut diagonally to create the triangle shape.
----------------------------------------------------
Take the thick basic white card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.
Ink up the flower cluster and stamp a few times in the centre of the card ( making sure that some will show once the DSP is laid)
Add the triangle of DSP to the top left hand side of the card front, leaving a small border around the edge.
On scraps of Basic White stamp the following
1 x Leaf image in Lost Lagoon ink
1 x ladybug with Memento ink outline and spots and the solid image in Real Red.
1x cluster of flowers in Bubble Bath ink.
Fussy Cut all these out - you will just need one from the flower cluster.
Arrange all these into the centre of the card front.
Finally add the two sentiments from Charming Sentiments, in the top and bottom corners.
Here's a list of supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store
