Hello Little One Turtle Friends Stable Door New Baby Card. Ink Stamp Share Showcase Blog Hop. April 2022

 Good Afternoon Everyone

Today I'm blog Hopping with the Ink Stamp Share Ladies, and it's our Showcase hop - so we get to share anything Stampin Up we like.

I decided to use some retiring products and create a really fun and simple Baby Card. The design is simple, and it is very neutral toned, so I think would work great for a Boy or Girl and you could totally switch up the colours to make it more specific to a gender if you would prefer.

Measurements

Basic Gray Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 2 3/4" x 3 7/8"

In Good Taste DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 2 5/8" x 3 7/8"

---------------------------------

Take the Basic Gray card stock and mark at 3" a small pencil dot on the score line, and one at the right hand side, again at 3". Pop this into your trimmer and cut down to the 3" mark on the score line, then rotate the card stock so that the cut line is to your left and cut down to the score line from the 3" pencil mark. This should free up a panel of card stock and leave you a 'stable door' card front. Fold and burnish this piece, keeping the score line to the left as you would a standard card base.

Add the larger piece of DSP to the inside back panel and the smaller piece to the card front.

On one of the pieces of basic white stamp the grass and turtles in memento ink and infill with a Just Jade shell. Use a Jade Stampin Write Marker or Stampin Beneds to add a bit of colour to the grass. Add the sentiments towards the top using memento again. Make sure that you space your stamping evenly to fill out the full length of the card stock.

Layer this piece to the Basic Gray piece of card which was made by cutting earlier. Position this on the card front, trying the get it as central as possible and only adding glue to the section that will sit on the 'door' otherwise you will glue closed your card!

Finally, take the last piece of basic white card stock and add to the inside of the card, making sure it sits perfectly behind the front panel when closed. this way you won't see the message that's written when it's closed.

I hope you enjoyed today's card - please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop for lots more crafting inspiration from these wonderfully talented ladies.
