Heat Embossed Merry Little Labels Gift Tags

I am very organised when it comes to Christmas, as of today I have approx 75% of my presents bought, wrapped and boxed into recipient. So, my next job is to label them all up and this set is going to be perfect! The Merry Little Labels stamp set coordinates with the everyday label punch, making this a quick and easy task. Great on the pocket too, as I have used mainly scraps to create them.

How did I do it? Here's how:-

Take a piece of coloured cardstock and wipe it over with your embossing buddy. This will help to remove any grease that may get powder stuck to it. Ink up a stamp with Versamark ink and stamp firmly. Place a scrap piece of paper under your cardstock to catch the embossing powder. Use an embossing powder colour of your choice and sprinkle over the wet ink, making sure you get a good coverage. Tap off the excess and use the paper to funnel it back into the pot.

Using a heat gun, melt the embossing powder then leave to cool. Once cooled you can line up your punch around the image and punch using the Everyday Label punch. I told you it was quick!!

Finish off the tag by adding a punch out from whisper white to the back, enabling you to clearly write, especially if you have used dark cardstock. Take the 1/8in handheld punch and make a hole centrally at the top, thread through some Whisper White bakers twine and you are all done!! Easy Peasy!!

I hope you enjoyed this project, and will try it yourself! Here are all of all the products used.

I hope to see you again soon.
