Bold Hexagon Thanks Card using See A Silhouette DSP

Good Evening everyone,

I hope you all had a fab weekend and managed to get through Monday.. I know its late, but I set myself a challenge to blog everyday, I managed to steal a few minutes to create this card earlier, but only now have I had a chance to write it up...

My card was made in minutes thanks to the wonderful DSP from the See A Silhouette stack. The colours and patterns are perfect for a striking background, so for a card, you need to do very little bar from add a sentiment.

In this instance I chose basic black for the card base and sentiment strip to provide a great contrast... I heat embossed the sentiment in white.

Accented Bloom Bright & Bold Thank You Card

Good Evening ,

I hope you are all having a fab weekend... as it's Father's Day we have had a busy day spoiling daddy rotten.

I have created a bright and bold thank you card....

Stamp the floral image onto a piece of whisper white that measures 3 3/8" x 5 1/4" in memento black ink... once dried colour in all the flowers with a variety of blends.

Create a card base from a piece of daffodil delight that measures 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8". Adhere a strip the highland heather gingham from the subtles DSP stack, that measures 3 3/4" x 5 7/8" down the centre of the card front. Place the stamped image over the top of this. On a scrap stamp the sentiment and cut out using the tailored tag punch... add this with dimensionals into the outlined area.

Add a piece of whisper white to the inside so there's a nice clean space to add a message.

Your Friendship Means the World to Me Card

Good Morning,

We made it to Saturday... yipee!! What is everyone up to this weekend... we havent got a great deal planned, although it will be Dave's first Father's Day so I have to do a little something.

Anyways, moving on to today's card. I wanted to create my own DSP keeping on the purple theme, the recipient I have in mind adores purple, so came up with this...

Take a piece of whisper white cardstock that measures 3 5/8" x 5 1/4" and stamp the flower image all over to create your own pattern. On a scrap, stamp 5 flowers. Then colour in using your blends. I used the highland heather combo pack and created shade and dimension with both the light and dark pens.

I layered the stamped piece onto a piece of Gorgeous Grape carstock that measured 3 364" x 5 3/8" and then onto a basic black card base.

Stamp the sentiment onto a scrap of whisper white, then layer onto a piece of basic black and add to the top right hand side of the card.

Fussy cut the loose flowers and cover with wink of stella. Pop a dimensional on the back and add to the card front, directly on top of some of the images. Add a rhinestone to the centre of the 3D flowers.

Varied & Vibrant Vases Just for You Card

Hello Everyone,

It's another miserable day here in Yorkshire,  I really dont know what's going on, it's the second week in June - I want sunshine!! Lol.

So, in the absence of proper sunshine, I have created my card tosay using nice bright and bold summery colours so I can pretend for a while!!

Tale a piece of sahara sand cardstock that measures 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored and folded at 4 1/8". Using sahara sand ink, stamp the floral image in all four corners, thwn fill in using a sentiment. I chose just for you as I had a specific recipient in mind, but you could easily switch it to make it for any occasion.

Cut a piece of very vanilla to sit nicely in the centre of the card front... mine measures approx 2 1/4" x 4 1/8" but you will have to adjust the sizing to get it just right.

I added three flowers, stamping the outline in early espresso and then fill in the petals with various bright colour. Space these evenly across the cardstock. Adhere this to the card front.

On a scrap stamp out the three vases in spme more bright colours and cut out using the vase builder punch. Add dimensionals to the back and add to the card, covering the bases of the stems.

Finally add a piece of very vanilla to the inside of the card, so there is somewhere for the sender to write their message.
