Remembrance Day Poppy Quote using Stampin Up! Supplies. Number 56 of #100things

Good morning Everyone,

As it's Remembrance Day today, My project today is all about Remembering all those who fall to give us freedom during the War.

I am very happy with how it turned out, and using Stampin Up supplies, it made it really easy to put together.

Using scraps of real red and basic black, uncut out lots of petal shapes and the star shapes. Curl the petal edges to give some lift, and then adhere together. I used four large petals and one small for the larger full flowers & one large and two small petals to create the closed flower. Stick two of the black stars together offset to fill out the shape and adhere this to the centre of the larger flower, and add half a piece onto the closed flower.

I typed the quote out on my computer and printer it out on Whisper White card stock. Cut this to 5" x 6".

Add the flowers to the white piece of cardstock and with dimensionals and cut some stems using the bouquet bunch framelits.  Add these just under the flower heads.

Layer up the whisper white onto a piece of basic black that is 1/2" larger, then a real red piece which is another 1/2" larger.

Bright Best Route Thank You Card using Stampin Up!. Number 55 of #100things

Happy Saturday Everyone,

I hope you have some amazing plans for the weekend. But before you get your happy on, take a peek at my card for today.

I dug out the Best Route DSP as I rarely use it, and I'm not sure why - It's so bright and bold - just Beautiful - and create this:-

Measurements:-

Basic Gray Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Gray Granite Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Best Route Designer Series Paper
1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
1pc - 4 3/4" x 3"

Plus scraps of Mango Melody, Pineapple Punch, Whisper White & Gray Granite.

Create the card base from the basic gray cardstock, add the whisper white panel to the inside and then layer the rest of the pieces to the front of the card.

On a scrap piece of whisper white, stamp the sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink and cut out using the Tailored Tag punch, whilst you have this punch handy, cut out two shapes from Gray Granite. Add these to the back of the whisper white shape, making sure they are offset so you can see Gray Granite to the top and bottom. Add some wink of stella to the Gray Granite that is showing. Create some loops with the metallic thread and secure to the back of the sentiment. Using dimensionals, add this to the centre of the card front.

Take the scrape of Mango Melody and Pineapple punch along with the Twinkle Builder punch and cut out a few stars, large and small. Add these to the card front using the fine tip glue pen.

Santa's Workshop Gable Gift Box. Number 54 of #100things

Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are all having a great week so far.

I have another Christmas project today, this is a cute Gable Gift Box decorated with the gorgeous Santa's Workshop characters.

The gable boxes come and ready cut and scored, so you just have to build them - quick and easy!!

Using the Dashing Along DSP cut two pieces that measure 3 7/8" x 1 7/8" and two pieces at 1 7/8" x 1 7/8". Using snail add these to the flat sides of the box. I used this DSP as I had enough scraps to fit, but you could use a plain pattern from any paper pack.

Fussy cut some images from the Santa's workshop DSP sheets and arrange these around the box. 

Create two bows from the Poppy Parade textured weave ribbon and stick with a glue dot to either side of the box on the sloped sides.

On a scrap of whisper white stamp the season's greetings sentiment from the Wishing You Well stamp set. Fussy cut of a layer onto a piece of the Dashing along DSP. Add this to the front of the box on to sloped section.

Graceful Glass Bookmark. Number 47 of #100things

Good Morning Everyone,

Today I have this cute little bookmark for you. I tend to read a lot of books, so a bookmark is a must for me, so I thought I would make myself a pretty little one using the beautiful Graceful Glass Printed Vellum.

These are really quick and easy to make, and would make a great little gift or packaged up could do well for a craft fair.

Take the printed vellum pack and find the design that has four long thin panels. Cut down this piece to create four even panels approx. 5" x 1 1/2" each. Pick one of the designs for your bookmark.

I used watercolour pencils to create a softer look, but nay colouring medium will work. Turn the panel over and colour in the back side of the vellum. Add colour using the watercolour pencils, then blend the colour together to get rid of the harsh lines.

Add small dots of liquid glue to a few places and them adhere to a piece of whisper white of the same size. Usually you have to be careful with glue and vellum as it can show through but with the colouring on the back makes the adhesive less noticeable.

Cut a piece of old olive cardstock that measures 5 3/4" x 1 3/4". Round the corners of one short edge using the detailed trio punch. Also cut a hole using another function on the punch. Use this hole to thread a length of Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon and secure this in place with a small length of baker twine tied into a knot.
