Good Afternoon Everyone,
It's Friday - and that means it's the Crafty Collaborations Monochromatic Insta Hop and this week our colour is Poppy Parade!
I sat and I thought about colouring flowers in Poppy Parade ink, or stamping onto Poppy Parade card, but I just wasn't really feeling any of my ideas. Then I thought why not use Black & White to create my flower focus and just add Poppy Parade as a bold accent and I'm chuffed with how it turned out

Take the Poppy Parade card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside.
Wipe over the Basic Black piece with your embossing buddy, then ink up the large rose image in Versamark and stamp as much of the image top and bottom as you can, then you should have space at either side to add a smaller rose. it doesn't matter about fully covering the centre as your sentiment will sit over a lot of the centre. Add some white embossing powder, lightly tap off any excess powder and then heat set with your heat tool.
Add this panel to the card front.
Bring in your Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine and using the labels from the Thoughtful Expressions Dies, cut out the third largest in Basic Black and the next one up in Poppy Parade.
Run your embossing buddy over the black die cut then stamp the Thank You sentiment from Charming Sentiments stamp set in Versamark ink. Sprinkle with White Embossing powder, tap off excess and heat set.
Layer the two labels together and then stick down into the centre your card front.
I really hope you have enjoyed my card today, please head on over to Instagram and check out all the other projects that have been created using Poppy Parade - CLick here to head over to my Instagram
