Good Afternoon Everyone.
Today I'm taking part in the Ink Stamp Share Blog Hop and our theme is 'Spring/Easter'. Now, being totally honest I haven't got any products in my stash that immediately scream Easter and with me just coming round after having a cold my brain and mojo just aren't at their best, so thinking outside the box was difficult. I decided to use the floral image from Enduring Beauty and colour the flowers in Daffodil delight, and created an Easter sentiment using the Alphabest stamp set.
Measurements
Fresh Freesia Card Stock
1pc - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8" scored at 4 1/8"
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap
-------------------------------------------------
Take the Fresh Freesia card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding one of the Basic white pieces to the inside.
Ink up the three flower cluster from Petal Park in Fresh Freesia ink and cover the card front.
On the remaining piece of Basic White stamp the large floral image in Memento ink and once dried, colour in using your Blends. I used Daffodil Delight and Granny Apple Green.
Bring in your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the floral image with the coordinating die, and also cut a label shape from a scrap of Basic White.
On the label stamp the sentiment. I used a selection of colours to stamp 'Easter' using the Alphabest stamp set, and the Happy is from Something Fancy - I just inked up the Happy and masked off the Birthday.
Add both the flower image and sentiment onto the card front with dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today, I actually really enjoyed making it and am pretty happy with the final results.
Please take a few minuted to continue through the hop to get lots more Spring & Easter inspiration.
