Happiness Abounds Happy Birthday Friend Card. Crazy Challenge Insta Hop

 Good Afternoon Everyone

Today I took part in the #CrazyChallengeInstaHop with a few crafty friends. There is two a month, one focuses on a stamp set & DSP and another is a colour or a theme.

This one is a colour challenge - Shaded Spruce, Blushing Bride & Melon Mambo. Now, I don't think this would have been a mix I would have made, but I am absolutely chuffed with how my card turned out, and these colours look fabulous together.

Shaded Spruce Card Stock

Basic White Card Stock

Blushing Bride Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

------------------------------------

Take the Shaded Spruce Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White panel to the inside.

On scraps of Basic White stamp the flower and two leaf images in memento. Once the ink is dry colour using Stampin Blends. I used Melon Mambo for the Flower and Shaded Spruce for the leaves. Cut out using the coordinating dies

Also, stamp the sentiments onto Basic white using memento ink and trim, leaving some space to the left (to sit under the flower) and angle the right hand side. Layer this to a scrap of Shade Spruce card stock and trim leaving a nice border.

Take the Painted Texture 3D Embossing folder and ink up the top panel with Blushing Bride ink. Lightly apply the ink directly from the ink pad. Place the blushing Bride card stock into the embossing folder and run through your Cut & Emboss Machine as usual. This will add ink to the card in all the areas which are not embossed, giving deep definition to that design and it makes it a bit more insteresting.

Layer this piece to the front of the card, then add the sentiment strip along with the flower and leaves from earlier.

Finally colour in a few of the lightest Milky Dots with your Melon Mambo Stampin Blends and add a large one to the centre of the flower and three smaller ones to the corner of the sentiment strip.

Perfectly Penciled Bumblebee Happy Birthday Card. Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop

 Good Afternoon Everyone

I hope you are all having a wonderful Sunday?

Today I'm sharing a project I made for the Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop. We don't have a set theme, just an opportunity to share a creation using the fabulous Stampin Up Products in our stash.

As you may be aware, the new Mini catalogue and Saleabration booklet was released earlier this month, and I'm not going to lie - IT IS AMAZING, and I've struggled to put my 'NEW' stuff down - so today I've made a very big effort to dig into my Annual Catalogue Products to bring you this card.

It's very Simple, but a great card to batch make and maybe leave off the sentiment, then you could have a very gorgeous card ready at the drop of a hat. So nothing is going to catch you out!

Daffodil Delight Card Stock

scrap strips approx 1/4" wide

Layering Designs Vellum

1pc - scrap

-------------------------------------------

Take the larger piece of Basic Black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Adding one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.

Using your Stampin Blends colour in the Perfectly Penciled DSP.

Layer this to the remaining piece of Basic Black and then onto the remaining Basic White card stock and add to the card front.

With your Ladybug Builder Punch cut out a body in Basic Black and a set of wings from the vellum. Lay the daffodil delight strips across the body and trim off any overhanging pieces. Place the Vellum wings onto the punch out just below the head.

On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment and the outline border image, then cut out using the lasting label punch.

Arrange the sentiment label and the Bumble Bee onto the card front.

Finally, place rhinestone gems around the 'corners' of the label.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today - please take a look at the list below and continue through the hop for lots more inspirations from a lot of talented ladies
