Good Afternoon Everyone,
This afternoon I am taking part in the Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday blog hop, where we showcase what we are working on.
I'm making some pretty simple cards that feature this amazing flourish - which I have pieced together in different colours to create this lovely embellishment for my card front.
Measurements
Highland Heather Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
Scraps
Gorgeous Grape Card Stock
1pc - 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"
scraps
Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"
Take the Highland heather card stock and fold along the score line. add the gorgeous grape panel to the card front and the larger piece of basic white inside.
Run the large and small detailed flourish through your cut and emboss machine in Gold, Highland heather and gorgeous grape along with a solid cut of highland heather. when removing then from your die, try to keep as much intact as possible as this will make the later steps a little easier, but its not a bother if they become separated, just make sure you have all the pieces.
Now, piece the detailed sections together to create a design. I used the outline of gorgeous grape and infilled with gold highland heather and gorgeous grape. I used liquid glue - but you could use the adhesive sheets. I found that you just need a little patience.
Stamp the sentiments from biggest wish - Happy towards the top and birthday towards the bottom of the remaining piece of basic white. add this panel to the card front.
Finally add the flourish to the centre of the card front with dimensionals.
