Lovely You Ice Cream Corner Just Because Greeting Card.

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Friday! Hope this week has been kind, and you have some great plans ahead for the bank holiday weekend.

Today I have a fabulous card to share - using the Ice cream corner DSP I've created a fun just because card for a friend.

Measurements

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 2 1/8" x 2 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 2" x 2 3/4"

Ice Cream Corner DSP

1pc - 3 7/8" x 2 1/2"

1pc - 3 7/8" x 1 3/4"

1pc - 3 7/8" x 1 1/8"

Fussy Cut Cones

Fold the Basic Black card stock along the score line then add the larger piece of basic white card stock to the inside.

On the card front, add the three strips of DSP, starting the largest at the top and going down in size. I used liquid glue for this as it gave me a second or two to make sure that I was lined up as best I could be.

Stamp the sentiment to the top of the remaining piece of basic white, then layer this to the black mat and add to the card front.

Pop the ice cream cones along the bottom of the sentiment panel. I used liquid glue to stick down the two outside cones and dimensionals to the centre one, just to add a little bit of height.

Pretty Perennials Oval Occasions Happy Birthday Card. Inspire Create Challenges #89

 Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you are all well.

Today's card was made for a challenge, yes I seem to be doing a lot of challenges a lately - but these really help me focus my crafting, and possibly create things I wouldn't normally create or just guide my creating by cutting out a lot of faffing and thinking about the project before actually creating something.

So here's today's card.

I was so excited to see this challenge from Inspire Create Challenges this week. It's a colour challenge and these ere right up my street!

Measurements

Bermuda Bay Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Mango Melody Card Stock

1pc - 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 5 1/4" x 3 1/2"

1pc - Scrap

Granny Apple Green Card Stock

1pc - scrap

Create your card base by folding the Bermuda Bay card stock along the scoreline, add the larger piece of basic white to the inside and the mango melody to the card front.

On the remaining piece of basic white, stamp a selection of the flowers and leaves from the Pretty Perennials stamp set. I used all four colours from the challenge for this. Add this panel to the card front.

On a scrap of basic white stamp the Happy Birthday Sentiment from Oval Occasions and cut out the smooth Oval with the Double Oval Punch, also cut out a scalloped oval in Granny Apple Green card stock. Layer these together and add to the card front with dimensionals.

I hope  you enjoyed today's card, please do pop over to Inspire Create Challenges and join in this challenge for yourself, which doesn't close until 5th May.

Here's a list of the supplies I used in today's card. Click on the images to head over to my online store. Product List

Whale of a Time Happy Birthday Card. Crafty Collaborations Challenge Blog Hop April 2021

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Crafty Collaborations Monthly Challenge Blog Hop and we have a sketch layout to follow for this Month. I love a sketch challenge as it helps guide you into the design  whilst still leaving the scope wide open for a variation of designs and finishes - and you will see that today when you hop around all these different interpretations of the same sketch

Measurements

Balmy Blue Card Stock

1pc - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Vellum

1pc - 2" x 7"

Whale of a Time DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

2pc - Fussy Cut Whales

Fold the Balmy Blue card stock along the score line and add the basic white piece to the inside.

Take the vellum and wrap it around the length of the DSP, securing the ends at the back of the paper. This is a great trick to use when you don't want to cover much of the vellum but still have is secured down. I also added a small dot of liquid glue under the vellum where I will put the lower part of the circle.

Add this panel to the card front.

Punch a 2" circle from Balmy Blue card stock and stamp the sentiment from Here's a Card in Pacific Point. Pop a few dimensionals onto the back of this and add to the card front. I added quite a few to this, just so that I was sure there was some adhesion to the DSP as well as the vellum.

Add the two fussy cut whales, and three pearls around the circle.

I hope you enjoyed my card today, please take a look at the list below and check out everyone else's sketch interpretations

World of Good Happy Birthday Gate Fold Card. Crafty Collbaorations Share it Sunday April 2021

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Showcase Blog Hop. There's no particular theme, just show off those pieces you are working on.

I've created a fun Gate Fold Card and decorated it with the World of Good Speciality DSP. I love the simplicity of this design, and the foiled DSP really does make it stand out.

Measurements

Early Espresso Card Stock

1pc - 11" x 6"

1pc - 3 3/4" x 2 3/4"

1pc - 1 5/8" x 3 1/8"

Misty Moonlight Card Stock

2pc - 5 7/8" x 2 5/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 1/4" x 5 3/4"

1pc - 3" x 1 1/2"

Take your Early Espresso card stock and score on the long side at 2 3/4" and 8 1/4". Fold in the edges towards to centre and burnish the score lines - this creates the gates.

Add the larger piece of Basic White to the inside.

Layer up the larger pieces of DSP  onto the Misty Moonlight pieces of card stock and add one to each of the gates.

Stamp the sentiments on to the remaining piece of basic white and them layer up all the remaining card stock and DSP. Pop dimensionals onto the back of this covering just the left hand side, placing this onto the card front so that the panel adhere to the left hand gate.

Please take a look at the list below and check out what is on everyone else's craft desk this week...
