Oval Occasions Happy Birthday Card. Crafty Collaborations Colour Challenge Blog Hop March 2021

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I have a card to share with you which I have made for the Crafty Collaborations Colour Challenge. As today is World Water Day, the colours are three shades of blue...

Measurements

Misty Moonlight Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Scraps for the ovals

Night of Navy Card Stock

Scraps for the scalloped ovals

Fold the Misty Moonlight cardstock along the score line to create the card base. Add the basic white piece to the inside.

Cut out a handful of scallop ovals in night of navy and adhere these to the card front. Once the glue is dry, run the card fromt through your stamp n emboss machine in the Painted Texture 3D embossing folder.

Now cut out some of the smooth oval shapes in basic white card. Stamp the Happy Birthday and the Time to Celebrate in balmy blue and the rest cover with stars in night of navy ink. Add the two ovals with the sentiments onto your card with dimensionals and then Glue the star stamped ovals flat into the centre of the remaining scalloped ovals.

Colour in some rhinestones using night of Navy and balmy blue blends, then add these along with some normal rhinestones to the card.
