Good Evening Everyone,
Today's card has been made for a Stampin' Birds Team Challenge that was set by Karen. We had to create a card using the scrappy strip technique, originally started by Bruno Bertucci. It's a very simple idea, great way to use up scraps but still get a fabulous card to send.
Measurements
Basic Black Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap
Assortment of Brights Card Stock scraps.
Create your card base by taking your largest piece of basic black and folding along the score line then add the basic white to the inside.
Take your scraps of coloured card and place each strip in your trimmer on a diagonal and trim - but don't cut from edge to edge to create a point - you don't want it to narrow too much.
INSERT
Now you have an assortment of strips, adhere these to the remaining piece of basic black card stock - lining up the edges to have even spacing between all the strips. as these pieces aren't straight - it really does give a fab effect. Once this piece is covered, trim off any over hanging pieces and then add this to the card front.
On a scrap of basic white, stamp the sentiment from Here's a card stamp set and cut out with the tailored tag punch, also cut a basic black shape too. cut this basic black one in half lengthways and adhere behind the white tag shape, making sure you can see the black at the top and bottom. Pop this onto the card front with dimensionals.
