Delicate Petals Lidded Birthday Box. Share it on a Sunday

Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Sunday! Hope you are all well. Hopefully you are having a good weekend so far.

As it's Sunday, we have another Share it on a Sunday for you and this week we are showing you some 3D projects.

I decided to create a lidded box with a simple design to show off the pop of colour and these fabulous floral images from the Delicate Petals stamp set.

Measurements

Melon Mambo Card Stock

1pc - 8" x 6"

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 6" x 4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 2 7/8" x 1 7/8"

Take your piece of Melon Mambo Card Stock, put it into your Simply Scored and score at 2" on all four sides. Fold and burnish the score lines well, then turn the squares into tabs. Cut straight up against the rectangles, the notch into the squares at either side

Repeat the process above with the Basic Black Card Stock but when scoring, move the card stock a smidge away from the edge and score like this at 1" on all four sides - this will ensure that the lid fits nice and neatly on the box base, without having to faff with 1/16" measurements.

On the piece of Basic White Card Stock take the flower and the sentiment from Delicate Petals and stamp with memento ink - once the ink has dried colour the flowers with So Saffron and Melon Mambo Blends.

Add this panel to the centre of the basic black card which will become the lid.

Put some tear and tape onto all the tabs you created on both the base and lid, fold the tabs round to build the base first, then do the same for the lid!
