All Things Fabulous Colour Challenge Greeting Card

 Good Morning Everyone,

As you will know I am very close with Donna from Taffy Crafting and Karen from Crafty Karen Designs, they are not only fellow team mates and Stampin Up Demos, they really are true friends for life. We talk constantly about our crafting and just life in general. They are fabulous sounding boards for my ideas and really do encourage  and push me to get what I need to get done! So, last Friday we decided to do a Friday Night Crafting Session on Zoom. We decided on a small 'to do' list to help us get some projects made. It was such a fun evening, and I can't wait to do it again!

One of the items on our agenda was a Colour Challenge, we each picked a colour and away we went. This is the selection we had to work with

And this is the card I made..

Measurements

Rich Razzleberry Cardstock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Whisper White Cardstock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Old Olive Cardstock

1pc - scrap

Create your card base by folding the Rich Razzleberry cardstock along the score line, and then add one of the whisper white pieces to the inside.

On the remaining piece of whisper white, stamp the flowers and the leaves to fill all the space. the flowers from this set are beautiful are are a three step stamp - this means that you use three steps to build up the full image, helping create depth and detail. I chose to use second and third generation stampin of the same colour to create my flowers, meaning I stamped off onto scrap paper twice before stamping the larger solid image, once for the next smallest and then I didn't stamp off at all for the final most detailed stamp. this gave me three shades of the Colour.

Add this panel to the card front.

On a scrap of whisper white stamp the sentiment in Bumblebee ink and trim down, layer onto Old Olive and Rich Razzleberry cardstock and add to the card.

Here's the cards that Donna & Karen made for this Colour Challenge too..

So there  you have it, three completely different styles of cards using the same three colours! Hopefully we have given you some inspiration!
