In Good Taste Birthday Card. Fave Share it on a Sunday Project 2020

 Happy Sunday Folks,

Hope you had a wonderful Christmas.

Today for our Share it on a Sunday we are showing off our fave project of 2020. I decided to pick the card I made using Basket of Blooms and in Good Taste DSP!! I chose to recreate mine with a different colour combo..

This is the original

Measurements for my New Version

Mango Melody Cardstock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Scraps for the flowers

Whisper white Cardstock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Soft Suede Cardstock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

In Good Taste DSP

1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"

Night of Navy Cardstock

Scrap for Vase

Fold the Mango melody cardstock along the score line to create your card base and add the whisper white Cardstock to the inside and the soft suede Cardstock to the card front.

Stamp the Birthday Wishes sentiment into the top right hand corner of your DSP in Nught of Navy, then add to the card front.

On the scrap of night of Navy Cardstock stamp the vase and fussy cut out. Add this with dimensionals to the bottom left of the card front.

Cut out three flowers in Mango Melody  Cardstock using the small bloom punch, sponge the edges with mango melody ink and curl up the edges to create some depth. Place a large rhinestones into the centre of each flower and adhere to the card front by the vase.

I absolutely love the Share it on a Sunday series. We take it In turns to pick the themes, so some weeks I'm really pushed out of my comfort zone which is so good for my creativity!

Please pop over and see what has been the fave projects for Karen and Donna this year!

Love You Always Speciality DSP

1pc - 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"

Very Vanilla Cardstock

1pc - 5 1/4" x 5 3/4"

Scraps

Take your piece off 11"x 6" basic gray cardstock and score at 2 3/4" & 8 1/4". Fold on the score lines, towards the centre. so you fold from the left and fold from the right to form your 'gate'. make sure these line up perfectly and burnish well.

On the inside, add the largest piece of Very Vanilla cardstock.

close the 'gate' and add the two rectangular strips of Foil, then place the two strips of DSP on the top of that.

Stamp the Thank You sentiment from Ornate Thanks onto a scrap of Very Vanilla in Sahara Sand ink and trim to create two separate pieces. Layer these onto some foil scraps.

Adhere the remaining Sahara Sand, DSP and Foil together, then add the sentiment pieces with dimensionals to the centre.

Add dimensionals to this panel, but make sure you only cover the left half. if you go any further across you run the risk of sticking in all closed! add this to the card front, paying attention to those diemnsionals on the back

Floral Essence Thank You Card

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm using an oldie but goodie. The Floral Essence stamp set is super pretty and using the outline images means you can colour the flowers any colour you like! Here I've used quite a subtle colour palette.

Measurements

Soft Seafoam Cardstock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic Black Cardstock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Whisper White Cardstock

2pc - 3 3/4" x 5 1/2"

1pc - scrap

Create your card base by folding the Soft Sea Foam cardstock along the score line. Add one of the whisper white pieces to the inside and the basic black panel to the card front.

Take the outline floral image and using memento ink, cover the remaining piece of whisper white to create a background. Once the ink has dried,  colour in the flowers using a selection of Stampin Blends. Add a generous amount of wink of stella to the flower centres to add a bit of sparkle.

Add this panel to the card front.

Now, stamp the Thanks sentiment from Many Mates onto a scrap if whisper white and layer onto a scrap of basic black. I chose to butt it up to the edge on the right hand side and have a border round the other three sides but you can centre it if you prefer. Pop this onto the card front.

A super quick and easy card which you can switch up for any occasion and any colour way!!
