Ornate Thanks Basket of Blooms Thank You Card

 Good Morning Everyone,

I hope you are well. Today I have a very simple card but I think it really does make a big impact.

Using the Sentiment to create a background is a great Idea to get more from your stamps, and the vase of flowers helps add a pop of colour.

Measurements

Melon Mambo Cardstock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored 5 7/8"

scraps for the flowers

Very Vanilla Cardstock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Crumb Cake Cardstock

scrap for the Vase

Take the Melon Mambo Cardstock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add one of the Very Vanilla pieces to the inside.

On the remaining piece of Very Vanilla cardstock stamp the Thank You sentiment from Ornate thanks in Basic Gray. Take the stamp and place the first one right at the top, then carefully and neatly continue down the piece of card. You could use your stamparatus to help you keep them straight and in line.

Add the panel to the card front.

On the scrap of crumb cake cardstock, stamp the vase in crumb cake ink and fussy cut out.

Cut out three of the flowers in Melon Mambo cardstock using the Small Bloom Punch. Sponge the edges with melon mambo ink, then give the flowers some dimension by teasing up the petals slightly.

Add the vase to the card front using dimensionals, then place the flowers above with glue dots.

Snowman Seasons Gift Tags. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

It's Sunday and that means we have a fabulous Share it on a Sunday theme for you today. Karen chose Gift Tags for this week, so I decided to make some Christmas Gift tags. I don't know about you but I never make enough tags! haha

I decided to make these tags using Mossy Meadow and Merry Merlot cardstock, not a usual Christmas Colour Combo, but I have some lovely brown paper to wrap my presents in and I thought this would look fab against that.

Measurements

Mossy Meadow Cardstock

2pc - 2" x 4"

Merry Merlot Cardstock

2pc - 2" x 4"

Whisper White Cardstock

4pc - 3 1/8" x 1 3/4"

scraps for the hat

Early Espresso Cardstock

scraps for the arms

Take the pieces of Mossy Meadow and Merry Merlot Cardstock and put one end into the scallop tag topper punch to create the decorating top.

Add some liquid glue to the merry merlot, and layer the mossy meadow tag over the top, offsetting so that you can see the merry merlot beneath - make sure you keep the holes at the top lines up.

Now, stamp the snowman on to two pieces of the whisper white, towards the top in memento ink, adding the sentiment below using merry merlot ink. On the scraps, stamp and punch out two hats.

Once the ink has dried on the hat and snowmen, colour using a selection of Stampin Blends.

Add the stamped piece to the top of the mossy meadow tag, then place the hat on his head using a mini dimensional. Punch out some arms in Early espresso cardstock and add to the snowman's body.

Finally thread some linen thread through the holes at the top and secure.

Please, head over and take a look at what both Donna and Karen have made too..

Emboss Resist Gorgeous Posies Greeting Card. Share it on a Sunday

 Good Morning Everyone,

Hope you are all having a fab weekend so far!!

We have a great theme today for our Share it on a Sunday - we we CASEing each other. I am CASEing Donna aka Taffy Crafting and this is my card..

I loved this card as soon as I saw it and knew it was what I wanted to CASE when this theme came about

Measurements

Pacific Point Cardstock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Whisper White Cardstock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Take one of the pieces of whisper white cardstock and rub over with your embossing buddy, then ink up the large flower image from Gorgeous Posies stamp set and carefully cover the card. Sprinkle with clear embossing powder to cover the wet ink. Gently tap off the excess powder and then heat set with your heat tool. The powder will melt and become shiny, once all the images look like this, your done. Leave to one side to cool.

Repeat the embossing process for the sentiment on a scrap of whisper white.

Once dry, take the larger piece and sponge on some colour. I used Highland Heather, Magenta Madness, Mango Melody and Bermuda Bay. I chose to do it in lines, rather than how Donna did it.

make sure you use nice small circular motions to sponge and build up the colour, and ensure you blend between the colours well. Once you are happy with the colouring - wipe over the panel to remove any of the ink that is 'sitting' on the embossed areas.

Sponge the sentiment piece and then cut out using the Tailored Tag punch. Take a scrap of Pacific Point and cut out another of the shapes. cut this in half and add to the top and bottom, making sure you have a nice even border at either end.

Fold the pacific point cardstock along the score line and add the plain whisper white to the inside, and the sponged piece to the front. Add dimensionals to the back to the sentiment piece and add tot he card.

Please head over to see what the other ladies have created, you wont be disappointed
