Thinking of You Regency Park Gate Fold Card. Fun Fold Friday

Good Morning Everyone

Happy Friday! and as it's Friday, we have some Fun Folds to share with you.

I've gone with a very simple Gate Fold Card - but the Regency Park Suite really does make it look that bit special. I have to send a Thinking of You Card to a friend and I thought this fold would be perfect. It's non fussy, but pretty and has plenty of room to write some words of condolence and encouragement.

Night of Navy Card Stock

Take the Night of Navy Card Stock and score on the long side at 2 3/4", then flip it and score at the same at the opposite side - I find this helps get a better more even finish. Fold the card from the left hand side into the centre, and the right hand into the centre to create your gate, make sure you have the edges lined up perfectly and burnish well with a bone folder.

Add the largest piece basic white the the largest piece of DSP and adhere to the inside of the card.

Then add the two strips of DSP to both of the 'doors' on the front of the card. I made sure I cut these pieces in a particular way that the pattern followed directly and correctly across both parts, I personally prefer this look, especially as this paper has a defined pattern but you really don't have to.

Layer the remaining DSP to the Night of Navy Mat and add this to the card front, making sure that the piece is central and only cover one of the front gate sections with adhesive. If you do go over you may end up sticking your card closed!

Bring in your Mini Cut and Emboss machine and cut out the large detailed label in Shaded Spruce card stock and the plain label in Basic white card stock.

Stamp the sentiments into the centre of the white label, then add this to the Shaded spruce label, tucking in the edges so that it sits under some of the shaded spruce die detail. Add dimensionals to the back of this and place it into the centre of the smaller central panel,

Fussy cut a selection of flowers from the DSP and add to opposite corners with dimensionals.

Finally add some of the Milky Dots to the flower centres on the die cut

Lovely & Lasting Pretty Prints Thank You Card. Creative Colour Challenges

Good Afternoon Everyone

Today I'm sharing My entry for this week's Creative Colour Challenges. I love this rich mix of Colours - I thought the Pretty Prints DSP would make the perfect background.

I had my little buddy in the craft room with me whilst I was making this Card - so my Daughter Imogen who is 4 and an aspiring little cardmaker, created a card too. Under her instruction I cut the DSP and punched out the label shapes, but everything else was all her - she stamped and coloured and stuck to make this card - and I reckon it's just fabulous....

Take the Blackberry Bliss card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside and the DSP to the card front.

On a scrap of Basic White stamp the outline for the label in smoky slate, the sentiment in Blackberry bliss and add the leaf boughs in Old Olive. Cut out using the Lasting Label punch - also cut out two shapes in Blackberry Bliss Card Stock. Layer these two pieces behind the White label, so that you have a nice edge top and bottom.

Using the Bough Punch cut out a handful of the sprigs in both Smoky Slate and Old Olive Card Stock.

Add the label to the card front with dimensionals, then with some liquid glue add the punch outs to created a spray of leaves, tucking them under the label.

Perfectly Penciled Graceful Tile Birthday Card. Crafty Collaborations Share it Sunday Blog Hop. March 2023

Good Evening Everyone

I have stepped out of my comfort zone today and used the Perfectly Penciled DSP and the Graceful Tiles stamp set to create a pretty Monotone card, with that little pop of Colour from my Highland Heather flowers. I'll be honest I'm usually one for colouring every last inch of paper where I can, so it to great strength to show some restraint and just add a little colour, but I'm chuffed with how it turned out. What do you think?

Basic Black Card Stock

Basic White Card Stock

Take the larger piece of Basic Black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside and the larger piece of DSP to the card front.

On scraps of Basic White stamp the sentiments and trim down.

Using your Stamping blends colour in the three larger flower heads on the remaining piece of DSP, then add this to the remaining piece of Basic Black card stock. Positioning it towards the top, making sure you have an even border around each side and the top edge. Place the smaller sentiment below this, centering it as evenly as possible. Pop some liquid glue on the back of the panel and add to the card front, just slightly off centre to the right.

Add the larger sentiment to some Basic Black Card Stock and trim.

Place this onto the card, trying to avoid covering up much of the larger coloured flowers.

Finally add a few rhinestones for a little Sparkle.
