Sending you Sunshine Springtime Scenes Greeting Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop - July 2026

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop. Each month we get together and share inspiration, without a set theme just the encouragement to stick to a Suite or a Bundle when creating.

I've chosen a set which has been around for a while, but I've just not used a whole lot - I'm not sure why as it's fabulous! The Springtime Scenes stamp set and die bundle gives you so many elements and opportunities for creations are endless.

I kept my colour palette minimal, which made the flowers and the lady bug really pop against a mass of Pretty Peacock.

What do you think?

--------------------------------

Take the Pretty Peacock card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the basic white piece to the inside. Ink up the large leaf image in Pretty Peacock ink and cover the front of the card with the image.

Bring in you Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the following :-

a plain circle in Basic White

a decorative circle in Pretty Peacock

a label in Basic White

a ladybug body in Basic Black

a Ladybug shell in Real Red

5 small flowers in Daffodil Delight

Ink up the sentiment in Pretty Peacock ink and stamp into the centre of the label die cut

Pop a little glue onto the back of the Real Red cut out and stick directly over the Basic Black Body

On the card front adhere the Basic White circle just above centre, then adhere the Pretty Peacock decorative circle directly over the top.

Position the label to the bottom of the circle and stick down with dimensionals. Place the Lady bug just above and the scatter around the flowers all over the decorative leaves. Pop a rhinestone into the centre of each flower.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I LOVED creating it.

Please do take a few minutes to continue through the hop. Janice Thomson is up next - please be sure to pop by and say Hi.
