Lovely Arrangements In Colour Thank You Card. Project Share Blog Hop - July 2026

  Good Morning Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in our Monthly Project Share Blog Hop! Our theme this month is In Colours. Now we had a brand new set of In colours release when our catalogue went live in May - but I haven't got the inks yet - just the cardstock and DSP, so instead of trying to be super clever and smart and making that work, I decided to shine some light on our older in colours. I absolutely love this colour combo and have used all five in this one card.

I created my own 'DSP' by stamping the flowers from Lovely Arrangements stamp set and then colouring the whole piece and I LOVE how it turned out.

What do you think?

Measurements

Cloud Cover Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Strawberry Slush Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Darling Duckling Card Stock

1pc - scrap

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

--------------------------------------

Take the Cloud Cover card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the larger piece of Basic White to the inside and the Strawberry Slush piece to the card front.

Ink up the two flower outline stamps from Lovely Arrangements and cover the whole of the remaining piece of Basic White. Once the ink is fully dry, grab your Stampin' Blends and colour it all in.

I used Timid Tiger for the flower petals, Darling Ducking for the flower centres and then filled in all the remaining white space with Secret Sea.

Add this to the card front on top of the Strawberry Slush piece.

Bring in your Stampin Cut & Emboss machine and cut out two of the thin banner pieces - one in Darling Duckling and one in Basic White.

Stamp the sentiment in Secret Cea ink into the centre of the Basic White banner. Cut the Darling Duckling banner in half and then adhere behind the sentiment - make sure you show a nice even amount of colour each side.

Finally pop some dimensionals onto the back of this and add to the card front.

I'm so happy with how my card turned out and I love creating my own unique background 'DSP'. This idea can be used in so many colourways and for so many occasions!
