All Things Fabulous Greeting Card. Crafty Collaborations In Colors Challenge Blog Hop May 2021

Good Afternoon Everyone,

I'm taking part in a Crafty Collaborations blog hop today ad we are showing off the wonderful new In Colors for 2021-2023 today.

I have used the All Things Fabulous stamp set which I absolutely love, and this sentiment - well it's just so lovely

Measurements

Evening Evergreen Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 1 1/4" x 3 3/4"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 5 1/4" x 3 3/4"

1pc - 1" x 3 3/4"

Create your card base by folding the Evening Evergreen card stock along the score line and add the larger piece of basic white to the inside.

On the next largest piece of basic white, stamp the larger solid floral image in polished pink, pale papaya and fresh freesia, adding leaves in soft succulent - add this to the card front.

On the remaining piece of basic white stamp the two sentiments so they look like one phrase in evening evergreen ink. layer this to the evening evergreen strip and add to the card.

Very Simple but I think very very effective.

I hope you enjoyed the card today, please take a look at the list below and continue through to see what all my crafty friends have created too

Elegantly Said Thank You Card. Inspire Create Challenges #091 Sketch Challenge

Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Inspire Create Challenges #091 sketch challenge. Every fortnight a new challenge is released and for this one we are following a sketch layout and I created this using our 2020-22 In Colours and the fabulous Elegantly Said stamp set...

Here's the layout we given, and as you can see I stuck pretty much to the letter with this one.

Measurements

Magenta Madness Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 /8" x 3 7/8"

scrap

Just Jade Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Misty Moonlight Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 7/8"

Cinnamon Cider Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 3/4"

Fold the Magenta Madness card stock along the score line, adding the basic white panel to the inside.

Ink up the flower image from Elegantly Said stamp set in Just Jade ink and cover the piece of Just Jade card stock. Add this panel to the card front.

Take the strip of misty moonlight and stamp the sentiment from Ornate Thanks into the centre, then sponge all the edges with the same colour ink. add this to the took of the Just Jade, lining it up with the top edge.

Sponge the edges of the Cinnamon Cider and add to the card front, so that the top edges is about half way down. Adhere a small piece of ribbon along the cinnamon cider piece, making sure that it long enough to see underneath your sentiment.

Stamp the sentiment in Misty Moonlight onto basic white scrap - then gently tap the edges of this into the misty moonlight ink pad - this will colour the edges of the basic white but it's a sharper and cleaner way than sponging, Add this piece to the centre of the ribbon with dimensionals, then trim the edges of the ribbon to look really nice and neat.

Thanks for taking a look at my card today - please head over to Inspire.Create.Challenges to get some more inspiration from the Design Team and perhaps even have a go at it yourself.

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 3/4" x 1 3/4"

In Symmetry DSP

2pc - 1" x 5 5/8"

Take the Night of Navy card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. add the larger piece of basic white to the inside.

Elegantly Said Golden Flourish Thank You Card

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

I hope you are all OK this Sunny Monday, How was your weekend - we had a few jobs to do around the house but I did sneak in a few cheeky crafting hours which I absolutely loved!! I had a delivery last week of some new products so I was raring to go! haha

Measurements

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Take the larger piece of basic black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base - adding the basic white panel to the inside.

On the remaining piece of basic black, wipe over with some anti-static tool. This will remove any oils that are on the card, meaning that the embossing powder should only stick where you want it to.

Ink up the large flourish in versamark ink and stamp in opposite corners. Ink up the sentiment from Ornate Thanks in versamark again and add diagonally through the centre.

Sprinkle over the gold embossing powder making sure that you cover all the wet ink really well. Gently tap off any excess then heat set. Keep the heat on the powder until it has melted and is nice and shiny.

Add lots of adhesive to the back and add to the card front.

This card definitely takes the less is more approach, but I really really wanted that beautiful flourish to just jump off the card.
