Friends are Like Flowers - You are Remarkable Greeting Card

Today I'm sharing a card I made a little while ago, but never shared - so here it is.

I absolutely love the You are Remarkable stamp set - the flower is so pretty and looks fabulous when coloured. Today however, I decided to use card stock and an inked outline image to give me some colour and some wonderful circles for interest.

Measurements

Basic Gray Card Stock

Take your Basic Gray card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Ink up the flower image in Basic Gray ink and stamp all over one of the Basic White card stock pieces. Gently ink the edges with Basic Gray and add to the card front, also ink the edges of the remaining piece of Basic White and add this to the inside of the card.

Using the scraps of coloured card, cut out one 2/3" circle using the punch in each colour.

Ink up the flower image in the same colour ink as the card and stamp so that you get the whole flower head on it. Then lightly add ink in the same colour around the edges of the circle. Repeat for all three colours. 

On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment in Basic Gray ink, trim and then add Basic Gray ink to the edges as well.

Arrange the sentiment and the circles onto to card front - making sure you've spaced evenly. Adhere the two lower circles and the sentiment flat and then pop the Melon Mambo circle up on dimensionals.

I loved creating this card it's a quick and easy make, minimal supplies and a good way to use up scraps! Would work with so many different colour combinations!
