Beautiful Gallery Thinking of You Card. Touches of Ink Hop. September 2025

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm hopping with the Fabulous Touches of Ink group. We hop each month and although we don't have a specific theme we are encouraged to created using products within a single suite or bundle.

This Month I'm using the Beautiful Gallery Suite - I honestly cannot but this down - I've used it so many times already, but it's so versatile that I can see me being able to use this many more times with absolute ease.

Now, I've really struggled with chopping into this DSP, it's so pretty - the paintings and drawings are amazing and I've found it difficult to figure out how to use it.

I realised I needed to keep it simple and not cover too much of this image, so I took the frame die and placed it over the image and cut out the three shapes, then I added these to the card front at various heights - this created interest, with losing any of the image.

What do you think?

Measurements

Crumb Cake Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored at 4 1/8"

Basic Beige Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Beautiful Gallery DSP

1pc - 6x6"

----------------------------------

Take the Crumb Cake Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Open your Early Espresso Ink pad and holding your card base, gently tap them together - I did it to create a little bit of extra interest, so that it wasn't so flat - just added a little off colour to the edges. Some spots have no ink, some it goes further into the card front than others. It's quick and rough!

Gently add a little colour to the Basic Beige piece in this way and then when happy add this to the inside of the card.

Using the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin Blends colour in the light and the windows of the house in the foreground.

Bring in your Stampin Cut & Emboss Machine. Lay the DSP down and then add the frame die on top - making sure you are happy with the placement - trying to get as much of the picture in as you can. Run it through the machine to cut out the three shapes.

Ink up the sentiment in Early Espresso and stamp it into the top right hand side of the largest frame. Now tap all the outside edges of the die cuts into the early espresso ink pad on there edge - this helps give a very thin highlight around them.

Next, Lay down the three pieces one inside the other and position in the centre of the card front. Gently glue down the centre piece with liquid glue, then the middle frame with a single row of dimensionals, and finally adhere the outer frame with a row of double stacked dimensionals ( simply stitch two dimensionals together and add to the frame)

I hope you liked my car today - I really enjoyed creating it.

Please take a minute or two to continue through the hop - these ladies are incredibly talented and will definitely have lots of inspiration to share. Tatjana is up next, so please do go say Hello.
