Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today I'm hopping with the fabulous 'We Fall in Colours' group and for September our colours are Real Red, Highland Heather & Darling Duckling. Honestly - I didn't see how this was going to turn into anything good, so I pulled out three scraps of card and whilst trying to think of this and that, I realised that there was no need to over complicate it - use the three strips, stamp the beautiful bold flower onto it and have that reach over the three panels.
I'm surprised at how well this turned out - I love it - what do you think?

Take the Basic Black card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White piece to the inside.
Line up the three strips of coloured card and then stamp the floral image into the centre using Memento black ink. Take a blender pen and add a little definition to each panel using the coordinating colour.
I added a small amount of craft white ink to the Darling Duckling piece into the open spaces and blended well to give a moonlight effect.
On a scrap of basic white stamp the sentiment in memento black ink and trim.
Arrange all the pieces onto the card front and then ensure they are spaced evenly - I would do this dry first so you know where to stick. once happy with the placement stick down with Liquid Glue - this also allows a little time to make sure everything is in the right place and lined up before setting.
Please take a few minute to continue through the hop and see what everyone else has created with this colour combination. Simone is up next -so be sure to go say hello.
