Good Evening Everyone,
It's been a while, but I'm so happy to be back hopping with the fabulous Stamping with Friends group.
This Hop is Blogger's Choice - so anything goes. I've opted for a simple layout to showcase the beautiful Kintsugi Inspirations DSP. It's lovely colours and gold foil detail makes this so special.
Do you know that the art of Kintsugi originated in Japan and is a technique used to repair broken pottery with gold or other precious metals. It embraces imperfections and finds beauty in the mended cracks rather than trying to hide them. I must say, Stampin' Up! have nailed it with this paper and truly captured the essence of the technique.
I've used a couple of layers of the DSP and cut out some of the vases, adding the sentiment from Beautiful Motifs to finish it off.
what do you think?

------------------------------------
Take the Misty Moonlight card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White piece to the inside.
Add the two pieces of DSP to the card front, centering the smaller piece over the larger mat.
Stamp the sentiment onto a strip of Basic White in Mist Moonlight ink, trim and give angled edges.
Arrange the three vases onto the centre panel, leaving enough room for the sentiment below.
I added the two larger vases with liquid glue, and popped the smaller vase onto dimensionals. The sentiment piece was also pooped up on dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I really enjoyed playing about with this paper.
Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop to get a huge amount of inspiration from this talented group.
