Good Morning Everyone,
Happy Saturday! Today I'm taking part in the Project Share Blog Hop.
You will have probably seen that we do a share every Thursday - in which we showcase a project the other three crafters of the group have made, but once a month we get together and all create a brand new project around a theme and do a little blog hop. This month we have a fabulous sketch layout.
I love working with sketches, its a great way to help get that creative juice flowing, or push you to design in a way you wouldn't normally think of. You can use the sketch as is and create exctaly like the format, as I have done today, but it's also a good starting point to guide you and just give a little inspiration.
Using the Storybook Moments DSP and the pre cut images I've made a sweet Thank You card.
Measurements
Pecan Pie Card Stock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 2 1/4" x 4"
Basic Beige Card Stock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2 1/8" x 3 7/8"
Storybook Moments DSP
1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"
3pc - 1/2" x 3"
-------------------------------------
Take the Pecan Pie card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the larger piece of Basic Beige to the inside and the larger piece of DSP to the card front.
Ink up the sentiment from Beautiful Motifs in Pecan Pie and stamp along the top of the remaining piece of Basic Beige then layer onto the remaining piece of Pecan Pie
Adhere the three thin strips of DSP to the larger piece of DSP, spacing evenly - making sure that they will sit well under the top panel, then glue that down on top.
Take the flower die cut and glue down flat with liquid glue, then add the cup image with dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I really loved creating it.
Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop - these ladies are super talented and I cannot wait for you to see how they have interpretated this sketch.
