Botanical Layers Thank You For Everything Card. Creative Colour Challenges - #CCC62

 Good Morning Everyone

Happy Monday!

As always, today's project is going to showcase this week's Brand-New Creative Colour Challenges Combo, which I absolutely LOVE! The mix of Tahitian Tide, Shaded Spruce & Night of Navy is awesome!

I've used the Hello Beautiful Stamp set to create a fun background of 'splodges' then added a cluster over a vellum panel from the Lovely Layers Vellum - adding this on the diagonal - as seem from an entry last week from the lovely Rebecca Nutely! Thanks for the idea !

Measurements

Night of Navy Card stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/42, scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scraps

Lovely Layers Vellum

1pc - 3 3/4" x 5"

-----------------------------------------

Take the night of navy card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Ink up three solid images from the Hello Beautiful Stamp set and allocate one shape, one of the each of the colours - then cover one of the pieces of Basic White using both 1st and 2nd generation stamping (stamping off once) to get a few different shades. I made sure to overlap my stamping as well to give a bolder look.

Take the vellum piece and add it diagonally over the stamped panel, fold over the edges and adhere to the back - this helps secure it tight and makes sure you have no need to add adhesive to the front!

Add this panel to the card front.

Cut a length of white bakers twine and create three loops in the centre of the vellum circle, sticking down with a couple of glue dots. make sure you add just one or two glue dots towards the bottom, near the black circle edge ( this will get covered with the sentiment).

On scraps of Basic white stamp the leaf image in shaded spruce and the sentiment in night of navy. Fussy cut the leaf and pounch out the sentiment using the label me fancy punch and add these to the card front using dimensionals.

Finally colour in a couple of rhinestones with your blends and add to the card fot a little added bling.
