Today I have this great gift box, specifically designed to fit two jumbo tea lights, but at 5" x 2 1/2" x 1", you can fit in some great treats.

I've used the Flower & Field DSP along with the Punch Party Stamp Set. both of which are special sale a bration FREEBIES, so you only have until 28th February to get your hands on these, contact me for more information on how to get them before they are gone for good.

Measurements

Flower & Field DSP
2pc - 4 7/8" x 2 3/8"
2pc - 2 3/8" x 7/8"
1pc - 4 7/8" x 2 3/8"

Take the piece of Poppy Parade card stock and score as follows:-
Long Side - 1", 3 1/2", 4 1/2" & 7
Short Side - 1" & 6"

Hold the card stock so that you have the thin score lines at the top and bottom. Cut up the rectangles and notch into the squares to create tabs, like so

Now add the DSP pieces to the card as below, add a small thumb notch to the long thin piece on the left hand side.

Add tear and tape to all the tabs and fold in all the 'B' tabs to form the base and the 'A' tabs create the lid, see above.

On a scrap of basic white, stamp the oval outline in Bumblebee ink and place the For you in the centre in poppy parade ink. Cut out using the smooth oval form the double oval punch and whilst you have that to hand, punch out a scalloped oval in Poppy Parade card stock. layer these together and add the to lid of the box.

Ornate Style Just Because You're My Person Greeting Card using Stampin Up Products

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I have a super simple card, a little stamping and a bit of colouring and there you have it. This large floral arrangement from Ornate Garden is just so pretty and makes the perfect focal point and the sentiments from lovely you are just great.

Measurements

Rich Razzleberry Card stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Fold the Rich Razzleberry along the score line to create the card base, adding one of the basic white pieces to the inside.

On the other piece of basic white, stamp the large floral image from Ornate Style in memento in the centre of the piece, adding a sentiment from Lovely you, to the top and the bottom,.

Once the memento ink has dried, colour in using a selection of Stampin Blends.

Add this panel to the card front.

It really is that simple, I didn't think you needed to add too much to this to get a nice clean crisp design, but you can add as much or as little as you please.

Flower & Field Happy Birthday Card. Crafty Collaborations Sketch Blog Hop February 2021

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Happy Monday, hope you all had a great weekend.

Today I'm taking part in a Crafty Collaborations Blog Hop with a sketch layout for the theme.

Here's the sketch we all had to follow:-

Measurements

Misty Moonlight Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Flirty Flamingo Card Stock

1pc - scrap

Flower & Field DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc -  1/2" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 1 1/4" x 2 1/2"

1pc - 1/2" x 3" approx

Fold the Misty Moonlight Card stock along the score line and add the basic white to the inside.  Add the largest piece of DSP to the card front. Take the 1/2" x 3 7/8" strip of and stock to the front about 1/4 of the way up.

Take the 1 1/4" x 2 1/2" and cut off two of the corners to create a tag shape, then add this to the card at the top left, the remaining strip of DSP needs to have a banner tail added and then stuck down over the tag shape.

Bring out your Cut & Emboss machine and your Stitched shapes dies. Cut out the largest Oval in Flirty Flamingo card stock and the next one down in Basic White.

Stamp the sentiment as far over as you can on the basic white oval, then layer the two ovals together. Now cut the ovals on the right hand side to take away the rounded edge.

Add this panel to the card front front, lining up the straight cut edge with the edge of the DSP layer.

Finally add a couple of rhinestones to the bottom left hand corner.

Please pop on over and see what everyone else has created for this challenge...
