Framed Violets Happy Birthday Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop - August 2026

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Touches of Ink Blog Hop - Each month we all created a project to share without a theme as such, just the encouragement to focus on a suite or a bundle.

I've chosen to showcase the fabulous Framed Violets bundle, which is rapidly becoming my go to set. You can quickly and easily bring some lovely design ideas together.

What do you think?

Measurements

Gorgeous Grape Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Daffodil Delight Card Stock

1pc - scrap

------------------------------------------

Take the Gorgeous Grape card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White panel to the inside.

Ink up the single flower stamp in Gorgeous Grape ink and cover the card front.

Bring in your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the scalloped oval in Daffodil Delight card stock and the smaller smooth oval in Basic White.

With the Basic White oval Landscape, stamp the flower cluster in Memento black in off to the left hand side, and putting the sentiment, again in memento ink, over to the right.

Colour the flower and stems in with a selection of Stampin' Blends. I used Lemon Lime Twist, Highland Heather and Daffodil Delight.

Adhere this to the scalloped oval with liquid glue and then pop some dimensionals behind this piece then centre it on the card front.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I LOVED creating it.

Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop - these ladies are incredibly talented and you are sure to get A LOT of inspiration.

Head on over to Simone's blog first.
