Peaceful Garden Thinking of You Card - Cards TV Mary's Sketches #8 - Last Chance Showcase!

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

I know it's been a while since I shared one of these - but I'm now getting myself back on form and back on it - so you will see these more regularly - I promise!

For those who don't know, a while back I decided to revisit a sketch challenge I did a few years ago. A lovely and talented creator called Mary has created a series of sketch layouts ( all can be found on her blog - CardzTV), It's such a great way to get those creative juices flowing if you are struggling - or a quick and easy way to create a card without having to think out the design and layout first - just grab some DSP , cut and away you go!

Today we are doing Sketch 8 and I thought it a perfect layout to showcase several Patterns from the Peaceful Garden DSP - which is on our Last Chance List, meaning it's retiring and when it's gone - it's gone for good!

Measurements - Tweaked slightly as Mary works in different sized card stock to me here in the UK

Misty Moonlight Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"
1pc - 3 1/4" x 2 1/2"

Basic White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2 1/4" x 3"

Peaceful Garden DSP
1pc - 5 5/8" x 2"
1pc - 5 5/8" x 1/2"
1pc - 5 5/8" x 1 3/8"
1pc - Fussy cut Dove

Create your card base by folding to Misty Moonlight Cardstock along the score line, and add the larger piece of whisper white to the inside.

Take the three DSP strips and line them up onto the card front - I used wet glue here, so I had a smidgen of time to play with the placement and make sure I had everything lined up evenly.

Take the remaining piece of DSP and Misty Moonlight and layer together, then add to the card front at an angle, just a slight tilt.

Stamp the sentiment on the Basic White scrap in Misty Moonlight, then fussy cut.

Add this along the bottom of the small centre panel so that you can still see most of the flowers, then position the dove off to the left - adhering both piece down with mini dimensionals.

I really hope you enjoyed my card today - I will be sharing my interpretations of these sketches each week, but do pop on over to Mary's Blog to check out all her fabulousness over there too, she does much more than just these so it's defo worth going to say Hi - https://cardztv.blogspot.com/

Here's a list of supplies I used in today's project, click on the images to head over to my online store Product List
