Always Thinking of You Greetings Card. Number 10 of #100things

Hello Everyone

A second card from me today, I wanted to show you this CASE I have created from the current catalogue - it's a great source of inspiration. There's so many project samples in the catalogue that you cannot help but be inspired!!

I love the simplicity of this card, the soft colours, the die cuts and the embossing folder all add subtle texture and dimension :-

Take a piece of Sahara sand that measures3 3/4" x 3 7/8" and stamp the image from accented blooms stamp set in whisper white craft ink. Pop this to one side to make sure it dries completely.

Bring in your big shot and the leaves from the flourish thinlits and create about four. Now run a piece of sahara sand that measures 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" in the basket weave embossing folder. Create a card base using a piece of Sahara Sand that measures 11 3/4" x 4 1/8", scored at 5 7/8". and adhere this dry embossed panel with snail.

Using watercolour pencils, colour in the stamped images, use your white pencil to define the stamped outlines if needed. Add this panel to the card base with dimensionals, and then tuck the leaves under the panel so they appear to be growing out.

Stamp the diamond shape in sahara sand on a scrap and cut out using the tailored tag punch and adhere in the border, create a double tailed banner for the sentiment a layer on top.

Icing on the Cake Floral Birthday Card. Number 9 of #100things

Hello Everyone,

Here's my card for the Inspire Create Challenges Blog. If you aren't familiar with this challenge, pop on over to https://http://inspirecreatechallenges.blogspot.com/ to see what they are all about - but simply they post a challenge every two weeks. It can be a theme, a CASE or a colour challenge. It's so much fun to join in and this one is Floral - so I had to have a go

Measurements:-

Shaded Spruce Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - 3 1/2" x 1 3/4"

Poppy Parade Cardstock
1pc - 7/8" x 2 3/4"
1pc - 3 1/4" x 1 1/2"

Whisper White
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - 2 3/4" x 5 5/8"
1pc - 3" x 1 1/4"

Create your card base and then using snail adhere the large poppy parade panel towards the left hand side. Add the large whisper white panel to the inside.

On the 2 3/4" x 5 5/8" piece of whisper white stamp the rose image and the leaves. This set is a two step stamp, so you get a solid image and a detailed image. I first stamp the solid image in second generation (stamped off once), then go over the top with the detailed piece with full ink. I repeated this process for both the roses and the leaves until the whole piece was covered. On a piece of scrap stamp two leaves and one rose. Fussy cut these out.

Centralise the panel on the poppy parade panel.

Stamp Happy in Poppy Parade and Birthday in Shaded Spruce onto the thin strip of whisper white and layer up with the remaining card stock. Add this sentiment banner to the card towards the right hand side.

Add the fussy cut rose and leaves to the left hand corner of your sentiment.

This is a really quick card, that uses little supplies, and would be easy to recreate using almost any colour combination.

Quick, Easy & Bright Thank You Cards using Detailed with Love. Number 8 of #100things

Hello Everyone,

I hope you are well, it's raining here again today :( Hopefully It will shift for the weekend but for now we have to put up with the rain! So I have made these beautifully bright thank you cards to try and brighten up the day.

So today I am bringing you two cards, that help you get the most out of your supplies. Mixing and matching DSP and stamped cardstock helps create a different look, and It's so simple to do.

Firstly, take a piece of DSP that measures 3 3/4" x5 1\2" and place in you trimmer, line up two corners in the track and cut a diagonal line, repeat this with a piece of whisper white of the same size.

Add the DSP triangle to your card base, which I used a piece of card the measures 8 1/4" x 5 7/8", scored at 4 1/8", in both Mint Macaron & Old Olive.

Take the whisper white triangles and punch out the floral cut in the corner of each. Add the images that coordinates right up into the corner also. Cover the rest of the triangle with the large image to create your own pattern. Glue this down onto the card stock in the opposite corner to the DSP, leaving a strip of card base showing in the centre.

Stamp the thank you sentiment onto a scrap of whisper white and punch out using the tailored tag punch, then a piece of DSP and Cardstock. Cot these two punches in half and adhere to the back to the sentiment piece, making sue that the pieces are layered behind evenly.

Add this to the card front and you are done! I told you this was a quick and simple project. It really does help you create an awesome background design with minimal effort.

Thank You for Caring Floral Greeting Card. Number 7 of #100things

Hello Everyone,

thanks for joining me on project number 7 of #100things. If this is the first post you have seen, I am joining in a challenge to create 100 projects! This is in the hope that I push myself creatively and make more of a variety of projects, because 100 is a big number!

Today I have a beautiful card made for a colour challenge I was given from Karen, who runs and ongoing colour challenge over on Stampin For All. Now I know I mention this group a lot on my blogs, but it really is a great group, full of awesome people, projects and inspiration.

Anyway, back to my project - I was given Blackberry Bliss, Crumb Cake, Basic Gray & Highland Heather and this is what I made:-

Measurements

Basic Gray Cardstock
1pc - 5 1/2" x 11", scored at 5 1/2"

Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
1pc - 5" x 5"

Highland Heather Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/2" x 4 1/2"

Crumb Cake Cardstock
1pc - 4"x4"

Whisper White Cardstock
1 pc - 5" x 5"
1pc - 3 3/4" x 3 3/4"

Take the label me pretty stamp set and stamp the floral edges in Highland heather, then stamp the thank you circle in blackberry bliss. Cut out using the pretty label punch, along with two shapes from blackberry bliss.

Using the small floral outline and solid image cover the whole of the small whisper white square. I used blackberry bliss for the outline and highland heather for the solid image.

Sponge the edges of all of the cardstock with crumb cake ink and then layer all the square on the card base. Layer up the punch outs and add to the card with dimensionals.

Add a small dot of glue form your fine tip glue bottle to the centre of all of the flowers and place a sequin from the mini sequin trim.
