Dandy Garden Your Friendship Means the World to Me Card. Share it on a Sunday Sketch Challenge

 Good Morning Everyone,

It's Sunday again folks and that means we have another Share it on a Sunday for you. This week I chose a Sketch layout to follow. These are great to kick start your mojo or if you need a bit of guidance to create.

Measurements

Blackberry Bliss Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Dandy Garden DSP

3pc - 3 3/4" x 1 3/4"

Fold the Blackberry Bliss card stock along the score line and add the basic white piece to the inside.

Take the three pieces of DSP and add to the card front. I used liquid glue to give me that little bit of time to make sure that all the borders are even.

Bring in your Cut & Emboss Machine and using the Perennial Petals Dies, cut two leaves from the scrap of Blackberry Bliss Card Stock. Trim off the leaf that branches to the right.

Add these two die cuts towards the bottom of the card front opposite each other, 

Stamp the sentiment from Free as a Bird stamp set in Blackberry Bliss ink onto a scrap of basic white. Now cut out with the Tailored Tag punch, Add this to the card front, to cover the stems of the die cuts.

Snowman Seasons Merry Christmas Card. Stampin For Christmas Blog Hop March 2021.

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Stampin' for Christmas Blog Hop. Yes, Yes I know a lot of you will be saying it's far too early to think about Christmas, and you may be right. But I love to give everyone a handmade card at Christmas and the only way to do this is to make sure I'm creating throughout the year.

Misty Moonlight Card Stock

1pc  - 3 3 /4" x 5 1/2"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Take the Merry Merlot Card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the basic white piece to the inside.

Rub an anti static tool over the piece of misty moonlight and stamp the sentiment towards the top and  then stamp the snowflakes all over it in Versamark ink. Sprinkle over the white embossing powder and gently tap off the excess.  Using your heat tool, melt the powder to a shiny smooth finish. Add this to the card front. 

Take a scrap of Basic White card stock that measure 3 3/4" wide. Run this through the cut and emboss machine with the dotted wavy line die from the curvy dies.  Add this to the card front, lining up the bottom edges.

On your scraps of basic white stamp the snowman and the hat image. Colour these in with a selection of blends and then cut out with the Snowman builder Punch. Also cut out the arms in early espresso. 

Add the snowman, hat and arms to the card front on top of the snow drift.

All Things Fabulous Nobody Gets Me Like You Do. Zoom Crafty Colour Challenge. February 2021

 Good Morning Everyone,

As you may know, I have two incredibly close crafty friends and about once a month we have a Zoom Crafting Session on a Friday Night. We pop the Zoom meeting on and craft away doing our own thing, getting through some tasks we need to complete and encouraging the others to do the same along with a massive amount of chat!! haha

We have also started added a colour challenge into the mix, we each pick a colour at random and we need to create a project with that and this is the card I made on our last call.

Here's the colour combo we chose...

Measurements

Gray Granite Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/42, scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 2 3/8" x 1 1/8"

Daffodil Delight Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Pumpkin Pie Card Stock

1pc - 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 5 1/8" x 3 3/8"

1pc - 1" x 2 1/2"

Take the Gray Granite card stock and fold along the score line and add the larger piece of basic white to the inside. Then add the pumpkin Pie and Daffodil Delight card stock to the front.

Now, on the remaining piece of Basic White stamp the flowers to create a background. These stamps are triple step stamping - meaning there are three images that you stamp on top of each other to get the depth and texture from the image. I used Daffodil Delight and Pumpkin Pie and some stamping off to create different coloured flowers, adding some of the smaller flourishes in between. Add this panel to the card front.

On the smaller piece of basic white stamp the sentiment in Gray Granite, layer onto the gray granite card stock. Add this to the card front with dimensionals.

Oval Occasions Bright Happy Birthday Card using the Rubber Band Techinque. Stampin' Birds Weekly Challenge

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I have a fab card to share with you. We were challenged this week in our Stampin Birds team to create a projects using the Rubber Band Technique. I love this technique, its so much fun and you can get some awesome results. I used a selection of bright and bold colours to make a great background for my simple card.

Measurements

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7.8"

1pc - scrap

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Fold your basic black Cardstock along the score line and add one of the basic white pieces to the inside.

Take a clear block, and wrap a load of rubber bands around it covering the block like this..

Insert

Now take the block and ink it up as you would a stamp and stamp onto your other piece of basic white. Repeat this process for all the required colours. I cleaned my 'stamp' off with baby wipes after each colour, but you could use new clean bands each time if you prefer ( TIP.. once finished hold the clear block over the bin and then snip away. This is the easiest and least messy way!!).

Add this panel to the card front.

Bring in your Cut & Emboss machine and using the Stitched shapes dies, cut out a large circle in basic black and the next size down in basic white.

Stamp the sentiment in Memento into the centre of the basic white circle, then layer onto the black one. Add three rhinestones above the sentiment, and three below.

Add this to the centre of the card.
