Wish for it All It's Your Special Day Greeting Card

Good morning everyone,

Hope you are well, we are on the down hill road to the weekend - dave is off work tomorrow as well so we have a long weekend to do some awesome stuff!!

Today's card is for the colour challenge over on Stampin for All on Facebook. We were given Pineapple Punch, Grapefruit Grove and Gray Granite - a fabulous colour combo, and here's what I made.

Measurements

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"
Couple of scraps for crown and sentiment

Gray Granite Cardstock
1pc - 4" x 5 3/4"
Scrap for the sentiment

Grapefruit Grove Cardstock
1pc - 1 5/8" x 2 1/8"

Pineapple Punch Cardstock
1pc - 2" x 1 1/2"

Create your card base by folding the whisper white along the score line and burnish well. Add the gray granite piece to the front.

On the remaining piece of whisper white, stamp the crown, alternating between pineapplepunch and grapefruit grove ink. Then add in the speckles in between the crown using gray granite. Add this to the card front.

Stamp a crown in gray granite , then using the Doily wishes dies, cut the crown out and a banner in whisper white using your die cutting machine.

Stamp the sentiment onto the banner then sponge the edges lightly with grapefruit grove ink. Layer this onto a scrap of gray granite cardstock and fussy cut, leaving a small border around the edge. Add this with dimensionals towards the bottom of the card in the centre.

Layer up the pineapple punch and grapefruit grove cardstock and add the crown into the middle with dimensionals. Place a small silver metallic pearl to each point of the crown, then add this panel above the sentiment.

You Rock Guitar Happy Birthday Card

Good morning everyone,

We have reached wednesday!! Woooo.

Today I have this super simple card which I made for a colour challenge in our Team. We were given Shaded Spruce, Daffodil Delight and Early Espresso - this is what I came up with. I wanted to keep it simple as sometimes you don't have to make it complicated to get a great card!

Measurements

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 8 1/4" x 5 7/8", scored at 4 1/8".
1pc - 4" x 2 1/2"

Shaded Spruce Cardstock
1pc - 1 5/8" x 5 1/4"

Early Espresso Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"

Daffodil Delight Cardstock
1pc - 2" x 5 1/4"

Create your case base byfolding the whisper white along the score line. Then add the shaded spruce and daffodil delight card stock to the front.

On the piece of whisper white, stamp the two images in early espresso ink to create a guitar shape - I had to practice the placement a couple of times on a scrap piece first just to get it right! Then with shaded spruce ink, add the You rock sentiment to the top left, and happy birthday along the bottom. Layer this to the early espresso cardstock and add to the centre of the card using dimensionals.

Told you it was simple, and the great thing about this design is that you can switch up the colours, images and sentiments to make a super quick card for any occasion

First My Mother, Forever My Friend Magnolia Lane Mother's Day Card

Good morning everyone,

I hope you are well. Today I have an appointment at the hospital for my troublesome tooth, which I'm not looking forward to! So, I'm trying to get organised as I have a tonne of stuff to do before I head out.

But first I want to share this lovely Mother's Day card with you. It's pretty quick to put together and uses our wonder Memories and More Cards. These are a must in your stash - there's a hige selection of pre-printed cards, vellum and stickers to help put a card together in no time.

Measurements

Crumb Cake Cardstock
1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Magnolia Lane Memories and More Card
1pc - 4" x 3"

Magnolia Lane DSP
1pc - 1 3/4" x 5 7/8"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Take your crumb cake cardstock and place one side into the scripty embossing folder so it cover the cardstock up to the score line then run through your die cutting machine. Fold and burnish along the score line and then gently run your spinge over the raises text to add more depth, also sponge the edges of the cars front, doing both woth Crumb cake ink.

Sponge the edges of the Magnolia Lane DSP with Crumb cake ink and add to the card front about 1/2" from the left hand side.

Take one of the smaller memories and more cards, I chose this one with the detail around the edge. Stamp the sentiments in early espresso. Sponge the edges of the card with crumb cake and add to the card front.

Above the Cloud 3D Hot Air Balloon Banknote Gift Box. Share it on a Sunday #4

Good morning everyone,

Today's another instalment of our Share it on a Sunday and this week we are showcasing Punch Art. Now I got very excited when this was chosen, but when I came to do a project I had the ideas, but not the right punches etc so Ive kept it simple and created a 3D hot air balloon and used it to decorate my box.

I will run through the tutorial for my project first, then I will link to Taffy Crafting and Crafty Karen Designs so you can check out their projects too.

The measurements for this box have been designed specifically to fit a variety of currency denominations in. You could use it to gift Euro, Dollars or Sterling Banknotes.

Measurements

Pacific Point cardstock
1pc - 7 1/2" x 8 1/2"

Soft Sea Foam Cardstock
1pc - 6 3/4" x 2 3/4"

Scraps of 7 different coloured cardstock, large enough to stamp the balloon

Take the Pacific Point cardstock and score as follows
Long Side - 1/2", 1" & 8"
Short Side - 1/2", 3 1/2", 4", 7"

Fold and burnish all the score lines, then cut away at the cardstock so you are left with a shape like this...

Ink up the clouds and stamp off once, before covering the top two thirds of the soft sea foam with the images. Then add the sentiments towards the bottom in pacific point ink.

Punch out 7 hot air balloon shapes in all different colours. Score down the centre of each and fold. Now glue all the side together to create a stack of half balloons. Add liquid glue to the end pieces and add two small lengths of bakers twine att rhe bottom, then add the balloon to the soft sea foam cardstock laying the two ends flat.

Stamp a basket in gray granite and punch out, add a dimensionals and stick to the cardstock tucking the bakers twine behind it. Add this panel to the Pacific Point cardstock panel on the right. Add a small thumb notch with a circle punch.

Run tear and tape along the tab and adhere to the opposite side, fold in the sides, back and front tabs and the bottom to create the base.
