Petals of Beauty Can't Thank You Enough Card. Project Share Project Blog Hop. February 2026

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today I'm taking in The Project Share Project Blog Hop and this month we have a colour challenge - but we weren't given a set of colours to use - we just had to use 1 Regal, 1 Neutral and 1 Bright colour for our Colour Collection.

I chose Shaded Spruce, Pecan Pie & Melon Mambo - not a most obvious choice or combination but with the Petals of Beauty Stamp Set - I thought they worked really well together.

What do you think?

Measurements

Pecan Pie Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored a 5 7/8"

1pc - 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"

Basic White Card Stock

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 3 1/2" x 2 1/4"

scraps

---------------------------------

Take the largest piece of Pecan Pie and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding one of the larger Basic White pieces to the inside.

On the remaining larger piece of Basic White stamp the flowers and leaves all over. The great thing about this set is it is two-step stamping. This means you use two stamps to create a full image - stamping them directly on top of each other. I also 2nd generation stamping ( inking up your stamp, stamping onto scrap and then onto your project - this gives you a lighter tone and helps increase depth of colour).

I used Melon Mambo for the flowers and Shaded Spruce for the leaves - stamping normally with the detailed image and 2nd generation stamping for the solid infill stamp.

Also stamp three flowers around the bottom left of the smaller Basic White piece and then one flower and one leaf onto scrap.

Add the larger stamped panel onto the card front.

Stamp the sentiment in Pecan Pie onto the top right of the smaller panel, layer this with the remaining Pecan Pie piece and then place this into the centre of the card front.

Cut out the leaf and flower and arrange on the card front, covering over some of the stamped flowers. I used dimensionals to give lift and depth - and to finish off I popped a rhinestone into the centre of the flower.

I really enjoyed making today's card - the colour challenges was a really good way to mix some colours! I loved how my card turned out.

Please continue through the hop, Verity is up next so please go on over and say Hi
