Petals Of Beauty Happy Birthday Card

 Good Evening Everyone,

Today I'm sharing a card I made a few days ago. I'd just had the Petals of Beauty bundle delivered and had a quick play. I wasn't sure what to create and I remembered a colour challenges id seen a bit back which was Blueberry Bushel, Gorgeous Grape & Melon Mambo and thought I would just go all out and totally colour drench this creation. I kind of feel like I'm channelling my inner Verity from Stampin' with Inky Butterfly! Measurements

Blueberry Bushel Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

1pc - 3 1/4" x 5 1/4" 

Melon Mambo Card Stock

1pc - 3 3/8" x 5 3/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Take the larger piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Adding the Basic White piece to the inside.

Use the smaller detailed stamp and stamp all over the piece of Blueberry Bushel card stock in the same colour ink.

Layer this to the Melon Mambo card stock and then add to the centre of the card front.

On scraps of Basic White stamp the flowers. These stamps are two step images. This means you use two stamps (steps) to create the full image. You stamp the solid image and then the detailed image directly over the top to give you this gorgeous image. I did two small and one larger flowers - using Melon Mambo for to solid stamp and Gorgeous Grape for the detailed highlights.

Bring in your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out all three flowers using the coordinating dies. 

Also cut out one of the banners from Banner Sayings.

Stamp the Happy Birthday Sentiment in Blueberry Bushel ink onto the Banner piece. Arrange the three flowers and the sentiment in a little cluster on the card front. I used both liquid glue and dimensionals to give the cluster interest and depth.

Finally pop a rhinestone Jewel into the centre of each flower.

I hope you enjoyed my card today - I totally loved creating it and using such rich deep colours in such a bold design.
