Delicate Framing Joyful Squares Here for You Card. Monochromatic Insta Hop - Soft Sea Foam 2026

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Happy Friday! Today I'm taking part in the Monochromatic Insta Hop, but wanted to share a 'How I made it' over here on my blog as well.

Now, honestly - I think Soft Sea Foam isn't my most used colour - in fact, it's probably my least used shade in my collection - and it's not because I don't like it, I do, but its a colour I struggle to use well.

So, I really wanted to take part in this hop particularly, for two reason - one to push me to focus a project which was very Soft Sea Foam heavy and secondly to see how everyone else uses it and what they all make.

I went for layers of texture using the Joyful Squares  & Delicate Framing Bundles, along with the Beautiful Pattern Embossing folder - along with a lot of ink to give more depth

What do you think?

Measurements

Soft Sea Foam Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - scrap

Pecan Pie Card Stock

---------------------------------------

Take the larger piece of Soft Sea Foam and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add the Basic White piece to the inside.

On a scrap of Soft Sea Foam stamp the square framed image in Soft Sea Foam ink.

Bring in your Stampin' Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out the stamped square image using the coordinating die, cut out the circle in Basic White, & run the 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" piece of Soft Sea Foam card stock through the Beautiful Pattern Embossing Folder. Finally cut out four of the scrap book corners in Pecan Pie card stock.

Ink up a blending brush with soft sea foam and cover the embossed panel, making some areas darker than others. Now, add a tiny bit of Pecan Pie ink to the blending brush and ever so little add come colour to the raised areas of the embossing folder.

Add this to the card front, placing the stamped square image in to the centre.

Ink up the sentiment in Pecan Pie ink and stamp into the middle of the die cut circle and light ink the edges with Soft Sea Foam. Add this into the blank circle area on the card front.

Lastly, add the scrap book corners to the edges of that panel.

I hope you enjoyed my card today - I loved creating it. Please do head on over to Instagram to check out all the other fabulous creations in this hop using Soft Sea Foam as our focus colour - Click here
