Good Afternoon Everyone,
Today I'm taking part in the monthly Touches of Ink Blog Hop. We don't have a set theme - but are encouraged to create a project using a bundle or keeping within a Suite of products.
I'm using the Cake Celebrations Bundle, along with a strip of the Bright & Beautiful DSP for a very fun and 'sweet' birthday card. This card came together very easily using a lot of scrap bits and pieces I had.
What do you think?

Bright & Beautiful DSP
1pc - 2 1/4" x 5 7/8"
----------------------------------------------
Take the Berry Burst card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White panel to the inside.
Adhere the Strip of DSP across the centre of the card front.
Now, bring in your Cut & Emboss Machine and using the dies, cut out all the following pieces...
Cake Stand - Pecan Pie
Cake Layers - Fresh Freesia
Icing - Bubble Bath
Chocolate Topping - Early Espresso
Now on a scrap of basic white, stamp the sentiments in Berry Burst ink, along with the Candles and then the flames in Crushed Curry. Fussy cut these three pieces.
Finally it's time to assemble it all.
Add the layers of icing the the cake pieces, placing the chocolate topping to each cake.
Position all the cake pieces into the centre of the card, adhering down with dimensions, then add the sentiments, again with dimensionals, to opposite corners.
I hope you have enjoyed today's card - I had so much fun creating it. Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop. Next up is Janice - so please pop along and say hello.
