Good Afternoon Everyone.
Today I'm taking part in the Technique Tuesday Blog Hop and this month we are going all 'Vintage'. Hopefully you will pick up lots of tips and tricks to help you create vintage inspired projects.
Now, i'll be honest, I don't always find this theme easy - but if I use Brown and Cream tones along with rough and ripped edges along with ink blending I usually can't go too far wrong.
I've used all the above with the Stippled Roses Stamp set to create a lovely Just for You card.
What do you think?

-------------------------------------
Take the Early Espresso Card Stock and fold along to score line to create your card base.
On one piece of Very Vanilla stamp the large rose image from Stippled Roses all over in Early Espresso Ink.
Whilst this is out, stamp one of these images onto a scrap of Very Vanilla, Colour in Using your Crumb Cake Stampin Blends and cut out using the coordinating die and your Cut & Emboss Machine. Add a little ink to the edges using Early Espresso Ink and your blending brush.
Take your snips and using the blade, rough up the edges of the piece gently pulling the blade along the edges. Also curl in gently the top left corner. When you feel you have distressed it enough, go in with Pecan Pie ink and Early Espresso ink on blender brushes to add some 'age'. I added quite a bit of colour to the edges but kept it lighter in the centre, but still adding enough ink to take away some of the brightness of the plain Very Vanilla.
Rip and tear both edges of some Early Espresso and Pecan Pie. Make sure that the Pecan Pie is small enough to sit on top of the Early Espresso piece leaving a nice amount showing below. Once happy, add a little ink and then add to the stamped panel. Trim off any over hanging pieces and go back in with the snips to distress those straight edge.
Add this to the card front.
Ink up the sentiment from Attention Stampers and stamp on the Pecan Pie Card Stock strip in Early Espresso Ink. The sentiment comes on one stamp, so I carefully inked up the 'Just for' first and stamped, then cleaned off my stamp and carefully inked up the You and stamped.
Bring Back the coloured stamped rose piece and add to the centre of the card front.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Please take a minute or two to continue through the hop to get lots more Vintage inspiration
