Good Morning Everyone.
Can I just ask, how is it June already? I cannot believe how quickly this year is just flying by!
SO, as it's the first Saturday of the month it's time for The Project Share Project Blog Hop. As you may know each week the four of us share projects each other have made, but once a month we get together and create a project around a theme. This month it is the brand new 2024-2026 In Colors.
I'll be honest, when I first saw these colours, especially online, I thought the looked very similar to current colours, so wasn't totally sold but once I got then in hand and got to play, I realised they are different and absolutely fabulous - they compliment our other colours perfectly!
I decided to focus on the DSP and do some paper piecing. Now, this technique isn't for the faint hearted and you sure need some patience - but I think the results make it totally worth it!
what do you think?

------------------------------------------------------
Take the Summer Splash Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base. Add one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.
On the Remaining Piece of Basic White, stamp the large floral image into the centre with Memento Ink.
Also, stamp this image onto the Petunia Pop and Shy Shamrock DSP.
Take your snips, and your patience!, and cut out all the flowers from the Petunia Pop DSP and the Leaves and stems from the Shy Shamrock piece. Carefully add these to the Stamp image on the basic white - adding them exactly on top of the same image section. I glued mine down as I went, to help keep everything where it should be.
Once it's all covered in, pop this panel into your trimmer and cut two diagonal lines, cutting off the white space in the two opposite corners.
Adhere this piece to the Peach Pie DSP and then add to the card front.
Finally Stamp the sentiment from Attention Shoppers in Peach Pie twice, then trim to get two separate words. As the words are close together - cut happy from one image and Birthday from the other - this will help you get a slightly larger more even border around the words. Layer both words to the scraps of Summer splash and trim to get a neat even edge then add to the card front with dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today, I really enjoyed creating it. Please take a few minuted to continue through the hop to see what other fabulous projects have been created using the 2024-2026 In Colors
