Stippled Roses Sending Thanks Joy Fold Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop April 2024

 Good Evening Everyone,

Happy Wednesday. I hope you are all well.

Today I'm blog hopping with the fabulous Touches of Ink ladies. As always, we don;t have a set theme, but are encouraged to focus on a Suite or a Bundle. I've chosen to use the gorgeous Stippled Roses stamp set to create a really easy Joy Fold Card. This has to be one of my most favourite folds - like I said super easy, not that many supplies or measurements to work with but you get a great finished product!

Measurements

Lost Lagoon Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 8 7/8", scored at 3 7/8"

1pc - 7 1/2" x 3", score at 3 3/4"

Very Vanilla Card Stock

2pc - 3 7/8" x 2 5/8"

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

2pc - 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"

1pc - scrap

------------------------------------------

Firstly take all the Very Vanilla Card Stock except 1pc of 3 1/2" x 2 3/4" and cover with the large floral image and Gray Granite ink - also stamp an image onto a scrap of Very Vanilla. Colour all the pieces in with Stampin Blends. I chose Bubble Bath for the Flowers and Granny Apple Green for the Leaves.

Take the larger piece of Lost Lagoon Card Stock and fold along the score line.

Add the larger piece of Stamped card to the inside of the card, then add the 2 5/8" pieces - on to the left of the larger piece Stamped Card and the other to the front of that piece as well.

Fold and burnish the remaining piece of Lost Lagoon card stock and hold it so the fold is to the right hand side. Add the stamped Very Vanilla Card to the front and  add the plain Very Vanilla piece to the inside, on the left. Keep the fold to the right as if you are giving a 'Backward' Card.

Add this smaller card to the larger piece of decorated card stock. Only adhering the back piece to the DSP keeping the fold to the right. Fold in the small flap, and have the larger flap fro the right sitting over the top.

Fussy cut the stamped image from the scrap you did earlier - cutting only the three larger flower heads and then overlay this directly above the exact image on the front of the card with dimensionals.

On a scrap stamp the sentiment in Gray Granite and the cut out using the smooth oval from the double oval punch and also cut a scallop oval from Lost Lagoon card. Layer these together and add below the 3D image piece.

I hope you have enjoyed today's card and will have a go yourself - it definitely looks harder than it is. Now Head on over to see what Sandra has created...
