As you may or may not know - I run the Creative Colour Challenges blog. Each week three Stampin Up Colours are randomly selected and I ask you to create a projects using those colours! Some week's are easier than others - but what I do find is that there's a lot of inspiration given from those who participate, so I thought that on a Sunday, once I have announced the Winner of the Week's Challenge over on Creative Colour Challenges Blog, I'd hop on over here and share the entries with you in the hope that we can give everyone some more inspiration, and I will link to those I can (as anyone can enter, you don't have to have a blog or a website), so It's also my chance to share there work and show some support.
I hope you will head over and take a look at the links provided and check out these very talented ladies!
If you are on Facebook, why not pop over and check out our community group Craft & Banter. If you have a passion for paper craft, are brilliant at baking or a super talented seamstress then we would love to see you there. We share all types of crafting, run challenges and giveaways & generally have a right good natter.
Happy Thursday and welcome to The Project Share Project. Every Thursday we will all share an individual blog post sharing one project from each of the other creators - maybe an inspiring card, a very fancy fun fold or simply a project that made us smile.
Verity shared another couple of cards this week using some brand new products from our upcoming annual catalogue. I love how she has used Basic Beige as her base tone and added small pops of of colour - these are fabulous . Here's the link which will take you to the blog post for more details on the cards https://inkybutterfly.com/2024/04/21/inspire-create-challenge-166-something-new/

Today I'm taking part in the Stamping with Friends Blog Hop and we are all showcasing projects using the retiring 2022-2024 In Colors.
I love that we have a core colour selection and then have the In Colors which only stay around for 2years, it helps keep our colours on trend and gives use exciting new combinations as the mix slip into our core colors effortlessly. That being said, I do get said when some of the colors are leaving us and these have been a big hit for me - I love this brightness of these shades and will be incredibly sad to see them leave!
I decided to created a floral background using all the In Colors and the Textured Floral stamp set. It;s a pretty simple design but the finished card is so lovely. what do you think?
Measurements
Tahitian Tide Card Stock
1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc - scrap
Basic White Card Stock
2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"
1pc - scrap
-----------------------------------------
Take the Tahitian Tide card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base - adding one of the Basic White pieces to the inside.
Randomly stamp the images from Textured floral, using all five In Colors to cover the remaining piece of Basic White. Once happy, add this panel to the front of your card.
On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment in Starry Sky ink and cut out using the 2" circle punch.
with the 2 3/8" circle punch cut a circle of Tahitian Tide card and stamp the dotty image all over in the same colour ink.
Layer the sentiment circle on top, adding it more towards the top - leaving a thinner edge of Tahitian tide at the top and larger section visible at the bottom.
Add this to the card front centrally, but towards the bottom.
Using your Sweet Sorbet Stampin Blends, colour a length of the Gingham ribbon, tie in a bow and add to the card front below the sentiment.
I hope you have enjoyed my card today - I loved making it and these colours will be sorely missed! Please take a few minuted to continue through the hop to get so much more creative inspiration using the retiring 2022-2024 In Colours.
