Wishing You a Speedy Recovery Happy Little Things Card. Stamping INKspirations Blog Hop May 2024

  Good Evening Everyone,

Today I'm taking part int he Stamping INKspirations Monthly Blog Hop and our theme for this month is a sketch layout.

I love a Sketch, it helps focus an idea - but you have the flexibility to make it your own. I swayed away for copying the sketch exactly a little by creating a horizontal card and using one less strip (the sentiment)

Measurements

Petunia Pop Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

scraps

2024-2026 In Color DSP

Pretty in Pink

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

----------------------------------------------------

Take the Petunia Pop card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding the Basic White piece to the inside and the DSP panel to the card front.

Ink up the Wishing and You outline images in Petunia Pop ink and stamp onto some scrap basic white. Use the solid word stamp to fill the word in using Pretty in Pink ink. Carefully fussy cut out all the letters.

Using another scrap piece of Basic white and the banner die from Happy Little Things and run it through your Cut & Emboss Machine. Stamp the sentiment in Petunia Pop ink.

Add dimensionals to all the cut out letters and the banner.

Arrange the banner straight, and then the letters to create your sentiment - I added them a little higgledy piggledy to add a little more interest.

Finally add a few Rhinestone Jewels for a little bling!

I love how this card turned out - It's easy and would work with so many colour combinations.

Please do take a few minutes to continue through the hop and check out all the other projects that have been designed following this sketch layout.

Attention Shoppers Happy Birthday Card. Paper Piecing. Smart Stamping International Hops

  Good Morning Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in a Facebook hop with the Smart Stamping Ladies. Our theme for this hop Was New Catalogue. There's so much choice to go at, but I decided to use the Attention Shoppers stamp set and do a little Paper Piecing with the new 2024-2026 In Colors DSP and I love how it turned out, what do you think?

Measurements

Thick Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"

Summer Splash Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 1 1/2"

2024-2026 In Color DSP

1pc - Summer Splash 2" x 5 7/8"

plus scraps of all 2024 - 2026 In Colours of both DSP and Card stock.

------------------------------------------

Take the Thick Basic White Card Stock and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Layer up the Summer Splash card trip over the same colour DSP strip and then add to the card front, a little above half way.

Ink up the Happy Birthday Sentiment in Memento ink and stamp in the centre just below the strip.

On some scraps of the DSP and Card stamp the images in memento ink so you have one image in card and one in DSP.  Then I fussy cut some elements of the images from the DSP and glued them onto the card stock image. Cut all these images out and then adhere along the card stock strip on the card front.

That's the card done! It's a super simple idea, but gives a great result and would look really great in other combinations too.

The Project Share Project - 9th May 2024

 Good Morning Everyone,

Happy Thursday and welcome to The Project Share Project. Every Thursday we will all share an individual blog post sharing one project from each of the other creators - maybe an inspiring card, a very fancy fun fold or simply a project that made us smile.

Verity Pursglove

Verity shared another couple of cards this week using a very simple 3D flower to create the most wonderful frame. These are so pretty!  Here's the link which will take you to the blog post for more details on the cards -https://inkybutterfly.com/2024/05/07/dimensional-topper-using-the-flowers-of-beauty-dies/

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Heather Forgan

Heather used the White Wash technique on this card. It's a very effective technique, and the Layers of Beauty stamp set is just the perfect set to use. Check out her blog to see how simple it is to create this fabulous card.

Craft with Jayne

Finally we have Jayne, who created these fabulous gift bags using Unbounded Beauty. I just love this paper and those die cut pieces, so pretty!  Head over to her blog to get more details - https://craftwithjayne.co.uk/2024/05/07/unbounded-beauty-gift-bag-craft-with-jayne-stampin-up/

I really do hope you have enjoyed this post today. I enjoyed taking a closer look at these ladies' project and picking a favourite to share with you! If you have a moment or two, please head on over to their blogs. Check out these projects and see what else they have created too.

Happy Little Things Clean & Simple Celebrate Card. Touches of Ink May 2024 Blog Hop

 Good Evening Everyone,

Today i'm blog hopping with the fabulous Touches of Ink ladies.

I've decided to showcase a super quick card idea using the brand new 2024-2026 In Color DSP along with the Online Exclusive - Happy Little Things Bundle.

This card is perfect for mass producing and it's simple & effective.

Measurements (per card)

Thick Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4" scored at 4 1/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 5 3/8" x 3 5/8"

scraps

Basic Black Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

2024-26 In Color DSP Pack

3pc - 5 5/8" x 1" strips.

-------------------------

Take the thick Basic White and fold along the score line to create your card base.

Add the three strips of DSP to the Basic White, trying to spread them as evenly as possible.

Layer this to the basic Black mat and then add to the card front.

On a scrap of basic white stamp the outline word in the same colour as the DSP and trim.

Run the smaller banner die through the Cut & Emboss Machine, stamp the sentiment in memento ink and add both sentiment pieces to the card front with dimensionals.

If you were to batch make, as I did with one of each colour, just take each step above and create multiples when cutting and then do all of each step at once, so fold all the card bases, then add all the DSP strip, etc - that way you can mass produce quickly and effectively.

I hope you have enjoyed my card today. Please take a few minutes to continue through the hop Petra is up next, please head over and say Hi.
