Perfectly Penciled Thin Necklace Gift Box with Insert. 3D Thursday

Good Morning Everyone

It's Thursday, so that means we have 3D Projects to share with you today.

I've made a sweet gift box which has an insert so that you can hang your necklace neatly, it looks pretty impressive as packaging and just a really nice way to add a little bit extra to your gift.

Measurements

Highland Heather Card Stock

1pc - 7 1/2" x 7 1/2"

1pc - 2 3/4" x 5 3/4"

Perfectly Penciled DSP

1pc - 2 3/4" x 5 3/4"

1pc - 5 7/8" x 2 7/8"

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - scrap

Take the largest piece of Highland Heather and using your simply scored, score on one side at 1/2", 1" and 7", then on the second side at 1/2", 3 1/2",4" and 7". Fold and burnish all the score lines well.

Using Mint Macaron & Highland Heather Blends - Colour in both pieces of DSP.

Take the larger piece of DSP and add to what will be the front of your box

Add adhesive to the thin tab and adhere to the opposite side, fold in the tabs and the bottom strips to create the base. the top will just fold over to close, you will need to notch in the tucking tab slightly to help it have a neater close.

On a scrap of Basic White stamp the sentiment, label outline and bough detail, then cut out with the punch then add to the front with dimensionals.

Finally, add the remaining piece of DSP to the remaining piece of Highland Heather. Using a hole punch cut two small circles in the top.. try to get these are equal and straight as possible. Then from the corners, snip a diagonal line to the circles as below (I've take a picture of the back, as you can't really see it very well on the front..... this will help you add the necklace with ease.

Butterfly Kisses Birthday Wishes Joy Fold Card. Crafty Collaborations Technique Tuesday Blog Hop. August 2022

Good Afternoon Everyone

Happy Tuesday! Today I'm taking part in the Crafty Collaborations Technique Tuesday Blog Hop and this month we are all creating Fun Folds.

I decided to create a Joy Fold as it's one of my absolutely favourite folds. So quick and simple to create, but it looks fabulous.

Measurements

Starry Sky Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 8 7/8", scored at 3"

1pc - 3" x 7 1/2", scored at 3 3/4"

1pc - scrap

Basic White Card Stock

1pc - 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"

1pc - scrap

Butterfly Kisses DSP

1pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 2 5/8" x 3 7/8"

1pc - 3 1/2" x 2 3/4"

Take the Starry Sky Card Stock pieces and fold along the score line.

Take the larger piece of Starry Sky card stock and place it in front of you with the fold to the left. Add the largest DSP panel to the inside, and the second largest to the smaller card front flap you created.

With the smaller piece of Starry Sky card stock hold that so the fold is on the right. Add the last of the DSP panels to the front and the plain piece of basic white to the inside.

Stamp the sentiment in Starry Sky ink onto a scrap of Basic White Card Stock and cut out using the Double oval punch to get a smooth Oval. Also cut out a scallop oval in Starry Sky card stock. Layer these together

Add this sentiment piece and the fussy cut butterflies to the front of the smaller 'card' section, making sure that if you have any butterflies overhanging towards the right fold, the need to be clear enough to open the card.

This is what the card should look like if laid flat, hopefully you can see how the pieces lay and slot together.

Hello Beautiful, So Happy To Know You Greeting Card. Creative Colour Challenges - #CCC48

Good Morning Everyone

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend. We did a few jobs around the house on Saturday and then we went out for the day with the Girls. There's a large Garden Centre close by with a Playgym and an outdoor adventure zone - so we had a few hours there, a wander round for some Garden inspiration and finished the afternoon off with a gorgeous Pub Carvery! So it was a Sunday well spent.

As it's Monday, I want to share with you my sample card for this week's brand new combo over on Creative Colour Challenges. I absolutely love this combination it's so bright, bold and fresh. I cannot wait to see what everyone create this week.

I decided to bring out my Hello Beautiful Stamp set and coordinating Beautiful Shapes Dies for this card. I created a very simple floral background with a selection of the stamps and then added an extra punch of colour with some circles. The sentiment is just lovely and it's a really nice 'Just Because' kind of card.

Tahitian Tide Card Stock

Mango Melody Card Stock

Parakeet Party Card Stock

Take the Tahitian Tide card stock and fold along the score line. Add one of the basic white pieces to the inside.

On the remaining piece, create a fun background. I stamped the Flowers in Mango Melody, the leaves in Parakeet Party and the flower centres, arrows and crosses in Tahitian Tide. I just started with a flower then added the leaves and then tried to fit all the other bits around trying to fill the space as best I could with a mix of all the images.

Add this to the card front.

Bring in your Mini Cut & Emboss Machine and cut out three Circles, one in each of the combo colours and then the sentiment piece in basic white.

Stamp the sentiment onto the basic white die cut in Tahitian tide and then arrange these in a cluster on your card front.
