Country Lane Happy Birthday Card using Stampin Up Supplies. Number 65 of #100things

Good Morning everyone,

How is it Monday already?? This weekend has just flown by! I hope you had a fab weekend, whatever you got up to.

Today I have this beautiful birthday card which was made for a friend. It is very simple to put together once you have cut all the layers, but gives a great effect with all the rich colours.

Measurements:-

Blackberry Bliss Cardstock
1pc- 5 7/8" x 8 1/4", scored at 4 1/8"
1pc- 3 1/2" x 5 1/4"

Crushed Curry Cardstock
1pc- 3 5/8" x 5 3/8"

Country Lane Designer Series Paper
1pc - 3" x 3 3/4"

Whisper White Cardstock
1pc- 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

Fold and burnish the large piece of Blackberry Bliss to create a card base. Adhere the whisper white piece to the inside of the card, then layer up all the rest of the card stock panels onto the front of the card.

Stamp the sentiment on a scrap of Whisper White and trim down so there is only a small edge of white around the sentiment. Take the tailored tag punch and cut out a shape in Blackberry bliss. Layer the sentiment onto this and then onto the card front.

Finally tie a bow with the whisper white polka dot tulle ribbon and adhere to the card front just below the sentiment.

Wood Textures Jumbo Tealight Box using Stampin Up Supplies. Number 64 of #100things

Happy Sunday Everyone,

I hope you are all having a great weekend so far, We were busy yesterday doing some Christmas Shopping and a little bit of Baby shopping thrown in there as well. 

Today I have a day of housework and crafting, so a quick run round with the vac and duster,then its back into the craft room for the rest of the day.

But before I do, I have this cute jumbo tealight box for you, although with final measurements of 2 1/4" x 2 1/4" x 1" I'm sure this could fid all sorts of goodies.....

Take a piece of Soft Suede Cardstock that measures 8" x 4 1/2". Score on the long side at 1", 3 1/2", 4 1/2" & 7" and on the short side at 1" & 3 1/2".

Fold and burnish all the score lines with your bone folder. Then holding the piece horizontally cut up all the score lines, notch in ever so slightly to the square flaps you have created. Do this on the top and bottom and then you will be left with a shape like below:-

Cut some DSP panels. You will need:-
1pc - 2 3/8" x 2 3/8"
4pc - 7/8" x 2 3/8"

Add these to the cardstock as below :-

Using the 1/2" circle punch add a small thumb hole in the panel on the left hand side with the DSP in between the A tabs.

Add adhesive to all the notched flaps, and fold together to create the box and lid. Adhere the A tabs together (as Above) to create the lid and the B tabs (as above) will create the base.

Wrap a length of very vanilla bakers twine around the sides and tie in a cute bow.

Bring in the big shot and your Stitched Shape framelit dies. Cut the smallest circle from very vanilla cardstock and the next size up in soft suede.

Stamp the sentiment from A Big Thank You stamp set into the centre of the very vanilla circle. Layer this onto the soft suede circle and add this to the lid of the box.

Add two peal jewels to the sentiment to finish it off.

Daisy Delight Thank You Card using Stampin Up Supplies. Number 63 of #100thing

Good Morning Everyone,

Sorry I have been a little absent, this pregnancy lark has wiped me out this week.

Todays card is a super sweet thank you card.

Take a piece of Mango Melody that measures 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" scored at 4 1/8" to make a card base. Add a piece of whisper white that measure 5 5/8" x 3 7/8" to the inside.

Bring in a piece of the tranquil tide DSP and place in onto the card base with the corner pointing into the centre of the card front. Line up the edges of the dsp to the corners of the card base.

 Make a small pencil line where the on the DSP where is meets the Cardstock.

Take the DSP an line up the pencil lines into your trimmer. Line up both lines into the track and cut, so that you cut a diagonal line.

Adhere this piece of DSP to a piece of whisper white. Add a small pencil mark  about half an inch from the point of the DSP like below

Put this in the trimmer again and cut a line from the mark you created to the point of the DSP and cut, do this on the opposite side to create a matted layer. You will have a thinner edge at one side and a layer view of whisper white towards the other.

Using the half open flower from the Daisy Delight stamp set and mango melody ink, cover the whole of the card front to create a tone on tone background.

Adhere the triangle to the card front, running the longest edge along the folded edge of the card.

On a scrap of whisper white stamp out two of the large daisy images in Mango melody and cut out using the daisy punch. Gently curl the petals using a bine folder and adhere one n top of the other - offset the petals to give a full flower. Add a clear faceted gem to the centre and with a dimensional, add to the Card front.

Ink up the thank you sentiment in Memento tuxedo black ink and stamp on a scrap of whisper white and trim. Layer this onto a piece of Crumb cake which is a little bit larger. Add this to the card front and you are all done!!
