Fluttering By to Say Hi All Aflutter Card. Touches of Ink Blog Hop - June 2026

 Good Afternoon Everyone,

Today I'm taking part in the Touches of Ink blog hop. Each month we hop without a set theme, just the encouragement to stick within a Suite or a Bundle.

Now, we have just had a new catalogue launch last month and I've not yet got many things to play with - I know, I really need to change that. So I have used the All Aflutter bundle and some of our brand new in colour DSP in Hydrangea Hue & Peaceful Pine.

I decided to keep it super simple and I love the results, what do you think?

Measurements

Hydrangea Hue Card Stock

1pc - 4 1/8" x 11 3/4", scored at 5 7/8"

Peaceful Pine Card Stock

IN Colour DSP

Hydrangea Hue

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Peaceful Pine

1pc - 3/8" x 5 5/8"

Basic White

2pc - 5 5/8" x 3 7/8"

2pc - 3" x 5 3/4"

-------------------------------

Take the larger pieces of card stock and fold along the score line to create your card bases, adding a one of the larger pieces of Basic White card stock to the inside of each.

Using your All Aflutter punch cut out three butterflies in each piece of the DSP. Tip - Align the punch along the left hand side and push it in as far as it can go before you cut - this means you can still use the larger piece as a mat layer.

Add the DSP pieces to the card front, making sure the cut section is towards the left.

Then add the smaller pieces of Basic White to the centre of the card front - leaving an even border all the way round. You will see a tiny little bit of the cut area below but just trust the process - we hide that later!

On a scrap of the colour card stock stamp the sentiment, trim and angle the right hand side. Put some dimensionals on the back and add to the card front - position it in line with the DSP and over the cut section.

Now stamp the butterfly cluster in Memento ink onto some scraps of basic white then cut using the punch. I then used my scissors to cut away the white border. Pull up the wings gently, add a line of glue and then lay on top of the of DSP butterflies. Then arrange these onto the card front.

I hope you like my project to day - I really enjoyed creating these cards.

Please take a few moments to continue through the hop and check out what all these other talented ladies have created. Simone is up next, please go say hello!
