Garden Gatherings Happy Birthday Card - Touches of Ink Blog Hop - May 2024

 Good Evening Everyone,

Today I'm hoping with the fabulous Touches of Ink ladies! Each month we get together and hop - without a set theme, just the expectation to showcase a bundle or suite! 

I'm using the Garden Gatherings Bundle - which is a brand new bundle from our May-Aug catalogue. I've pulled together lots of our colours from the Brights Collection to create a quick and Easy, but equally bold and beautiful birthday card.

Measurements

Azure Afternoon Card Stock

1pc - 5 7/8" x 8 1/4" - scored at 4 1/8"

Gorgeous Grape Card Stock

1pc - 3 7/8" x 5 5/8"

Melon Mambo Card Stock

Take the Azure Afternoon card stock and fold along the score line to create your card base, adding one of the Basic White pieces to the inside. 

On the Remaining piece of Basic White stamp the sentiment from Garden Gatherings in Azure Afternoon ink across the top as centrally as you can.

Layer this to the Gorgeous Grape Card stock and add to the card front.

Now in some scraps of Basic White stamp the flowers and stems images. I used Granny Apple Green for all the stems, then some flowers are Pumpkin Pie and the others are Berry Burst. Cut the out using your Cut & Emboss Machine using the coordinating dies. Also cut out the vases from Melon Mambo card stock.

Add a little liquid glue to the stems and stock the vase over then so that you see mainly flowers. Trim off any bits that stick out behind the vases.

Pop some dimensionals onto the back of these and space then out evenly on your card front.

I loved creating this card today - just randomly pulling together colours from our Brights collections, but this card design would work with any colour combinations! I will definitely be trying some more variations out.
